A jar of wishes

dead.

A painful journey,

And forgotten goodbyes.

Eyes closed,

Nothing but smiles.

Her soul has departed,

Her body remains.

Those who love her,

Will never be the same.

We send her wishes of happiness,

While we mourn.

Her presence is empty,

But we remember all the memories we own.

She has left us,

And these tears drift from my eyes.

I didn't even get to say goodbye.

One minute she's with me.

The next she's dead.

I guess that's life.

And all life comes to an ...

The ellipses at the end of the poem is meant to represent how we cant finish life because we never know when it will be over. The word pleaced where the ellipses are was meant to be"end"
This poem is dedicated to someone who will remain in my heart though she is no longer with us. Her suffering has come to and end but I will miss you and I love you.
