Whisper softly in my ears
Midnight skies and silky tears
Follow the stars beyond the hills
Fill my mind with unspoken fears
Like art that has not yet dried
Brush my damp paint and change my design
Stormy nights and mellow days
Engulf my senses with your taste
Time is lost.
Only beating of the clock is the ticking of your heart
Sea brushed irises in which I reside
Kiss me softly by your side
And as the night deepens into a cobalt blue
Your eyes travel to mine
Instead of the crescsent moon
Arms wrapped tight around my hips
Hazy breaths that ghost upon my lips
Pull me close as every doubt is dismissed
