Can we be friends?
Can we please try?
I miss all your thoughts,
And your sweet smile.
I miss talking to you for hours each day
Now I'm scared to just say "hey"
I know things have happened in the past
I know that things didn't last
But I promised you my friendship
I swore I wouldn't leave
My friendship is still available
Would you accept it please?
I miss talking to you about the things that made you smile
I miss talking to you about things that have been on your mind for a while.
I miss talking to you about things that make you angry or sad
I miss talking to you about all things,
Good and bad.
I know you probably hate me for all I've done.
But I haven't been talking to you for all these days, and that hasn't been fun.
For some reason you appear in my mind
All the time
Something reminds me of you and I begin to smile
But then I remember what happened
Then I remember that..
I don't talk to you about your day
I don't tease you in any way
I don't make you smile or laugh
I don't do anything
But I still care.
And it kills me that I can't say "hey"
I miss you in my life....
I wonder if you feel that way.
My friendship is still available...
If you would accept it that is.
It will never disappear
My friendship and I will remain right here.
