Derek POV

Me and Tom were just hanging out after school with the gang, smoking and drinking some vodka we stole from our parents when Tom told the guys what happened on our way to our last period class. "So these two girls were walking in front of us and one of them bumps into Derek and drops her books, making it look like Derek cause her to do that. The other girl calls him a jackass and tells him to watch where he was going. I told her that she better watch what she says to my man and she calls me gay." Tom said. "But you fucked more girls than the rest of us." Our one friend Brad said. "That's what I told her. Then I hear that bitch call me a sick bastard." Tom said. "Tom, the girl didn't bump into me. I bumped into her. It was my fault got it." I said. I then walked away from the guys and began walking home. I couldn't stop thinking about that girl. When we made eye contact, something kept telling me that she was different from all the other girls at school. She had more of an innosence than most girls. Who was she? I thought. Just then, I seen Tom running up to me. "Dude what the hell was that about?" He asked as soon as he caught up. "Sorry just thinking." I told him. I looked down at him and asked, "Do you know who that girl was from earlier?" "I think the bitches name was Calee Carter." Tom said. "No not her. The other girl." I said. "Oh the one who you bumped into was I think Angelynn Flower." Tom said. "Flower?" I asked. "Yeah, I think she might be related to that one girl your uncle dated. I think her name was Rachel." Tom said. I heard about the Flower family. Apparently, there one family member dated my uncle but he killed her, or so they say. Ever since then, the Flowers tried to avoid us Poisons. "Yo man look out!" Tom yelled, yanking me backwards. I then seen a car drive past. I was so lost in my thoughts, I forgot that we were still in the streets. "Thanks man." I said. "Don't mention it. Seriously, what's got into you? You haven't been yourself since bumping into Angelynn earlier." Tom asked. "I'm fine." I said. To show him that I was fine, I punched his arm and grabbed the vodka out of his hand. "Told you I was fine." I said, taking a drink of the vodka. "Yep, there's the old you." Tom said. We continued walking home as I thought about Angelynn more. What's gotten into me? I thought. Why can't I stop thinking about that girl. Angelynn Flower. She just won't leave my thoughts. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me but I think I'm in love with her. Even if she doesn't feel the same way about me, I think I'm in love with a Flower.
