Innocent Flower Meets Deadly Poison

Chapter 8

Derek POV

We finally arrived at the bank and seen that someone else was robbing it. To make matters worse, the police were already there. "Damn it, if we try to rob them, then were only gonna wind up in a trap." Tom said. "We can't give up just yet Tom. We need to get the 20,000 dollars to save the girls." I told him. "How are we gonna do that?" Tom asked. Suddenly, we heard one of the officers say that if anyone can catch the robber, then they would be given a 20,000 dollar reward. "Tom that's it." I said.  "If we can catch those guys, then we can save the girls." "Let's do this." Tom said. It took us awhile, but we found to robbers and beat them to a bloody pulp. We took them back to the officers and said, "Found them." "Thank you boys. Well the reward ready for you by tomorrow." One officer said. "We actually need it now." Tom said. "Why is that?" Another officer asked. "Our girlfriends are being held hostage and if we don't get the money to them soon, Calvin and his friend are gonna kill them one by one, starting with my daughter." I told him. Suddenly, I had an idea. "I think I just got an idea on how to save the girls without the money." I said. We then huddled up as I explained the plan. "Let's hope this works." Tom said.

Angelynn POV

As time went by, Calee, Lily, and I have sat and waited patiently for the guys to come. I looked out the bared window and seen that the sun started to go down. "Angelynn, I'm really worried. What if the boys can't find us?" Calee asked. "Don't worry Calee, they will find us. I just know it." I said. Lily has fallen asleep a little while ago. Suddenly, the door opens and Calvin walks in. "Your men are here so get up." Calvin said. We stood up as I thought, how did they come up with the money? We walked outside and seen the boys holding a suitcase. "Well well well, looks like you guys finally showed up." Brian said. "We have the money so let us have our girls." Tom said. Calvin smiles and grabs Lily out of my arms. He throws her as I scream. Derek runs and catches her just in time. I signed as Tom asked, "What the hell? You could have killed her?" "You'll get the next two when we get our money." Brian said. Derek glares at him and then stares at me. He nods at me and hands Lily to Tom. Derek then grabs the suitcase and began to walk towards Brian and Calvin. "Here is the money. Now let the other two girls go right now." Derek said, anger dancing in his eyes. "Hand us the suitcase." Brian said. Derek hands them the suitcase as Tom yells, "Now!" Suddenly, security guards surrounded the area. "Freeze!" One of them said. "Holy shit!" Calvin yells. Derek grabs Calee and throws her at Tom. Tom hands one of the officers Lily and catches Calee. Derek was about to grab me when Brian punches Derek in the face. Brian then grabs me and holds me in a choke hold. "Nice try you bastard. But I'm not gonna hand you the girl till you tell the police to leave." Brian said. "I already gave you the money so hand over Angelynn." Derek said. I gasped. How did Derek get ahold of the money I thought? Suddenly, Derek punches Brian and grabs me. "Let's go Angelynn." Derek said. Right when Derek and I were about to run, Calvin starts throwing punches at Derek. The police separated them and took Brian and Calvin away. "Are you okay?" Derek asked,  holding me close in his arms. I nod and look up at him. "You saved us. Thank you." I said. Derek smiles as one of the officers hands us Lily. I held her in my arms as Calee and Tom ran up to us. "I'm so glad you three are safe." Tom said. "I was worried that you guys weren't gonna come." Calee said. "Why would you be worried about that?" Derek asked. "Because of our fight. I was thinking that you weren't gonna come." I said. "Angel, no matter what, I'll always be there for you. You and Lily." Derek said. "I feel the same way Calee. If you were ever in danger, I will always protect you." Tom said. Calee and I smiled as we began to head back home.
