Chapter 10

Tom POV

"So how are we going to get the old gang back together?" Derek asked me. "Well, I think we should go to our old hangout spots. Something tells me that we'll find the old gang in one of those spots." I explained. "Then we better start looking. The sooner we get the old gang back together, the sooner we can get out of here." Derek said. "Your right about that. We have to make sure we don't bring any attention to ourselves." I said. "So lets start looking." Derek said. I nod as we began to look for the old gang.

Calee POV

As I was doing the dishes, I noticed Angelynn sitting out on the front porch. She looked like she was lost in thought. I finished the dishes and joined her outside. "Hey Angel, is everything okay?" I asked. She looks up at me and sighs. "I just can't help but worry about Derek. If there is someone after us, then they could be after him and Tom." She said. I sat down next to her and said, "I know, I'm worried about Tom. He was acting a little strange." "Derek was acting strange too. Maybe were just being paranoid." Angelynn said. Suddenly, we both heard Lily crying. "I better go check on her." Angelynn said. She stands up and walks inside. I sighed again and starred at the sky. "Tom, I hope you and Derek know what your doing."

Derek POV

"We have absolutely no idea what were doing." I said. We began to look for the old gang at some of our old hangout spots and we can't find a trace of them. "I'm sure there around here somewhere." Tom said. "That's what you said an hour ago." I said. As we walked around town, I noticed some police officers talking to some parents. I realized then that the parents they were talking to were Angelynn's. "Oh no." I said. "What's the matter?" Tom asked me. "We've got to hide fast." I said. We then ran into an old abandoned building and watched the police ask Angelynn's parents some questions. "What's going on Derek?" Tom asked. "Those are Angelynn's parents. If they catch us here then were screwed." I told him. "Oh shit." Tom said. I looked back at Angelynn's parents and noticed that Angelynn's mother was holding a baby in her arms. I then remembered Angelynn telling me that her mom was pregnant. She must of had her baby after we left. Suddenly, we heard someone coming towards us. "Who's out there?" I asked. "Show yourself so we can kick your ass." Tom said. I gave Tom a what the fuck look. "Tom, I doubt there gonna show up if you threaten to kick their ass." I told him. "Derek? Tom? Is that you?" We heard someone say. As soon as the person came out of the shadows, we immediately knew who it was. "Brad? Is that really you?" Tom asked. "The one and only." Brad said. "Damn man, its been a while since we seen you." I said. "I'm not the only one here. Follow me." Brad said. We then followed him upstairs and seen Michael and Jeffrey drinking some beer. "Hey guys, check out who came back to town." Brad said. Michael and Jeffrey looked up and, seeing Tom and I, jumped up and walked towards us. "Yo, what's up?" Jeffrey said. "Haven't seen you guys in like forever." Michael said. "Let's just say some crazy shit happened so we had to leave." Tom said. We all sat down and drank a little. "So what made you guys leave in the first place?" Michael asked. We then explained the whole situation. "No wonder the police kept bugging us." Michael said. "They were bugging you guys?" I asked. "After you and Angelynn left, the police asked everyone in town about where we may be able to find you guys." Brad explained. "Of course we didn't know jack shit where you guys took off, but they didn't believe us. So we chose to hide out here to get them off our backs." Jeffrey said. "Damn man." I said. I knew chaos was going to start the moment Angelynn and I left town, but I had no idea it would be so bad. "Wait a second, if you guys left here to get away from Angelynn's parents and your parents, then what the hell are you guys doing back here?" Jeffrey asked. "We need your help guys." Tom said. "What is it?" Brad asked. "Someone is after us and our girls. We need you guys to come back with us and help us protect the girls." I explained. "Do you know who is after you?" Michael asked. "Its members of our family who want the war between the Flowers and the Poisons to get even worse." Tom explained. "You do realize that since you guys left, the war between your families has gotten worse right?" Brad asked. "Yes we know that." I said. "So let me see if I got this right: You want us to help you protect your girls from whoever is after them." Jeffrey asked. "Yes, I know its a lot to ask from you guys, but you all are the only ones we can trust." Tom said. "You maybe able to trust us, but I bet Angelynn and Calee don't. Remember, those two weren't exactly fans of ours back then." Michael reminded us. "We know, but that's all in the past. I'm sure they won't mind you all staying with us." Tom said. "Alright, count us in." Jeffrey said. "Yeah, I could use a nice getaway from all the crazy drama here." Michael said. "Looks like were going to get out of this crazy town." Brad said. "Awesome, looks like we found us some new body guards." Tom said. "Okay, the question is: How do we get out of here without the police noticing us? If we get seen, were busted." I asked. "Don't worry, there's a back door. We can sneak out of here without being noticed." Brad said. "So let's get going. The sooner we leave, the sooner we can get back to the girls." I said. "I just hope there safe." Tom said. "So do I Tom." I said.
