They let her go, blindfolded and disoriented, and led her to a waiting limo. The drive seemed to last an eternity, her anxiety mounting with each passing moment. Finally, the car came to a halt, and she was instructed to remove the blindfold. Blinking in the sudden light, she realized she was in front of her house in Kyoto.Utahime stumbled out of the car, her legs shaky, and managed to make it inside before collapsing to the ground. She clutched her stomach, tears streaming down her face, the terror of the past days overwhelming her. She suddenly sensed his presence and looked up to see Gojo's blue eyes filled with concern."Gojo..." she whispered, her voice barely audible."What did they do?" Gojo asked, his tone serious, a rare intensity in his usually carefree demeanor."They basically abducted me," she began, her voice trembling. "They tied me to a chair in this dim room and asked me very personal questions while insulting me. They cut off Rei's arm or arms and threatened to kill me and my child if they found out I lied about you not being my baby's father. They said they have eyes everywhere, which means they have access to cameras around the city and spies following me constantly. This means that you have to leave now, don't call or text me because my phone might be bugged without my knowledge. We gotta be apart for some time," Utahime said, her words tumbling out in a frantic stream."Calm down, Hime," Gojo said softly, but firmly. "I've already gotten rid of the bugs, and as for the spies, they're no longer a problem. I took care of them, and I got you a new phone."Utahime looked at him, her eyes wide with a mix of relief and fear. "You... did all that?"Gojo nodded, his expression softening. "Of course. I won't let anything happen to you or our child."She felt a wave of gratitude and love wash over her, but also a deep sense of unease. "Gojo, that's reckless. Now they're gonna send an assassin or something to see if you will save me again or whatever. Gojo, you can't be with us all the time to protect us, and they'll maybe use us as a sign of weakness. You're not immortal."Utahime's words hung in the air, her concern palpable as she voiced her fears about their safety. She looked at Gojo, hoping he would understand the gravity of the situation.Gojo chuckled, a confident smirk playing on his lips. "Hime, they can try all they want, but no one can touch me. I'm the strongest sorcerer out there. They'd have better luck trying to catch lightning in a bottle."Utahime sighed, frustration bubbling beneath her calm exterior. "It's not just about you, Gojo. They know you're powerful, but that doesn't mean they won't find other ways to hurt us. They could use our vulnerabilities against us.""Vulnerabilities?" Gojo raised an eyebrow, amused. "I don't have vulnerabilities. I have limitations, sure, but weakness? That's not something I know.""Exactly," Utahime countered, her voice steady. "They might see us as a weakness precisely because they know how much we mean to each other. We need to be cautious."Gojo's smirk faded slightly as he regarded Utahime. He could sense her genuine concern, her maternal instinct already fiercely protective of their unborn child. "Alright, maybe you're onto something," he conceded reluctantly. "But still, I won't let anyone harm you or our baby."Utahime nodded, grateful that he was at least willing to consider her perspective. "We need to think strategically. We can't afford to underestimate our enemies.""Fine," Gojo said with a sigh, running a hand through his hair. "Let's figure out a plan. We'll play it smart."As they sat together, plotting their next move, Utahime felt a sense of relief knowing Gojo was with her. Though he could be stubborn and cocky, she knew deep down he would do whatever it took to keep them safe.
