Next Morning, at the Mansion
The mansion is bustling with activity as servants and decorators prepare for Gagan and Priya's engagement ceremony.
Sitara: (working alongside other servants, feeling a deep sadness with every passing moment)
Sitara's Thoughts: Everyone here is so happy, but for me, it's like living in a nightmare. Today, I will lose the person I love the most to someone else. Priya is a billionaire with equal status to Gagan, while I'm just a mere servant in this house.
Decorations are grand and opulent, with flowers, lights, and elegant arrangements everywhere.
Other Servant: Sitara, could you help with setting up the tables in the garden?
Sitara: (nodding quietly, trying to hold back her tears) Yes, of course.
As Sitara works, she occasionally glances towards Gagan, who is talking with his family and Priya, looking happy and content.
Sitara's Thoughts: He looks so happy with her. Maybe this is how it was meant to be. But it hurts so much... I never imagined this day would come so soon.
At the Engagement Ceremony
The engagement ceremony begins with the ring ceremony for Priya and Gagan. Sitara, trying to avoid seeing Gagan with someone else, busies herself by serving drinks to the guests.
Guest: Thank you, Sitara.
Sitara: You're welcome.
Vijay: (approaching Sitara with a smile) Hi, Sitara, we meet again.
Sitara: (smiling back, pleasantly surprised) Hi, Vijay. It's a surprise to see you here.
Gagan: (noticing their interaction from a distance, his eyes narrowing in anger)
Vijay: I came here with my father. He's one of the business partners with Gagan's father, so he forced me to come. I didn't expect to meet you here, but I guess everything happens for a reason.
Sitara: So, you're a young master, then? Should I call you sir or master?
Vijay: (laughing) No, Sitara, we're friends. Please call me Vijay.
Sitara: (smiling, feeling a bit more at ease) Alright, Vijay.
