As Gagan entered his office, the previously noisy company floor fell silent, almost as quiet as a library. All the employees began to shiver as they saw Gagan walking through the office like a lion searching for its prey. Behind him, Sitara followed, her demeanor resembling that of a scared cat. The atmosphere was thick with tension, and the employees could feel the weight of Gagan's authoritative presence.
Upon reaching his room, Gagan called for his personal assistant to retrieve his schedule. The P.A. informed him that he had a meeting with a client from Malaysia in twenty minutes. With a curt nod, Gagan sent the P.A. off to arrange the meeting with the other employees. The P.A. left the room briskly, understanding the urgency and importance of the upcoming discussion.
Meanwhile, Sitara stood there, feeling small and timid, like a puppy, observing the scene. She watched as the office buzzed into action, preparing for the meeting. Her eyes darted around nervously, unsure of what to do next.
As the PA informed Gagan that the meeting with the Malaysian clients had been arranged, he glanced at Sitara, his expression stern and unyielding. His voice was cold and authoritative as he gave her instructions.
Gagan: Sitara, wait here in the office. Do not cause any trouble, and do not talk to anyone. Obey my words, or you will be punished.
Sitara nodded, feeling a mix of anxiety and resignation. She understood the gravity of his words and the potential consequences of disobedience. She watched silently as Gagan left for the meeting room, his authoritative presence leaving an unmistakable mark on the atmosphere.
Sitara's Thoughts: (feeling a sense of unease yet determined to follow his instructions) I must be careful. I can't afford to make any mistakes.
After Gagan went to the meeting room, Sitara occupied herself by organizing some paperwork. The stillness of the office was suddenly broken when Vijay entered. "Hey Sitara, we meet again," he said with a warm smile. However, Sitara's expression was far from pleased; it was tinged with fear. She worried that if Gagan Sir saw Vijay with her, he would become angry and start accusing her again.
Sitara couldn't find the words to explain her situation to Vijay. He was a genuinely nice guy who regarded her as a friend, despite the significant disparity in their social statuses. Vijay was wealthy and well-regarded, while Sitara was a servant working for daily wages. She really appreciated his kindness and didn't want to bother him with her problems or ruin their friendship.
In the Meeting Room
Gagan entered the meeting room, his demeanor professional and composed as he greeted the Malaysian clients. The room was set up for a successful discussion, and he was determined to make a strong impression.
Gagan: (to the clients) Welcome. I appreciate you taking the time to meet with us today. Let's get started.
The meeting commenced smoothly, with Gagan showcasing his expertise and negotiating skills, ensuring that the clients felt valued and understood.
