After the confession, Sitara stood trembling, expecting Gagan's harsh words or something worse. Instead, he grabbed her shoulders, his eyes burning with a mixture of emotions she couldn't decipher. Before she could react, he pulled her into a fierce, possessive kiss.
The intensity of the kiss left Sitara stunned, her mind reeling as she tried to process what was happening. This wasn't the cold, disdainful Gagan she knew. This was something entirely different. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her into a tight embrace, his heartbeat pounding against her own chest.
Gagan: (voice rough, breathless) Sitara...
She pulled back slightly, looking up at him with wide, tear-filled eyes, searching for answers. But he offered none. He just stared at her, his gaze intense and unwavering, as if trying to communicate something beyond words. His grip on her tightened for a moment, then he abruptly released her, stepping back.
Sitara: (voice trembling) Gagan sir... what...
But Gagan said nothing. He just stood there, his expression a storm of conflicting emotions. After a long, tense moment, he turned and walked out of the room, leaving Sitara standing there, her heart pounding and her mind in turmoil.
The silence in the room was deafening. Sitara sank to the floor, tears streaming down her face. She didn't understand what had just happened. Her confession had been met not with anger, but with a kiss. A kiss that spoke of something deeper, something she couldn't grasp.
Gagan walked down the hallway, his mind racing. He hadn't planned to kiss her. Her words had ignited something in him, something he'd buried deep inside. He needed to clear his head, to understand his own feelings, but all he could think about was the look in her eyes, the way her lips had felt against his.
She touched her lips, still feeling the warmth of his kiss, and sank down onto the bed, tears streaming down her face. The whirlwind of emotions left her more confused and heartbroken than ever, as she tried to make sense of Gagan's unexpected actions.
The next morning, Gagan sat at the dining table, picking at his breakfast. His mind was elsewhere, his eyes frequently darting toward the door, eagerly waiting for Sitara's presence. Each time someone entered, his heart would leap with anticipation, only to fall back into disappointment when it wasn't her.
