It's evening, and the house is quiet. The day's events have left both Sitara and Gagan feeling unsettled. Sitara is in the kitchen, preparing dinner. Gagan, still lost in his thoughts, finally gathers the courage to approach her.

Gagan: (softly) Sitara, can we talk?

[Sitara turns to face him, her expression a mix of curiosity and residual hurt.]

Sitara: (nodding) Sure, Gagan. What is it?

Gagan: (sincerely) I'm really sorry for today. I didn't mean to upset you. Seeing you unhappy brought back memories of how I used to hurt you, and I regret those actions deeply. I never want to be that person again.

Sitara: (sighing) I understand, Gagan. But I also need to apologize. I overreacted when you were just trying to complete the task I gave you. I should have trusted you more.

Gagan: (shaking his head) No, you had every right to be upset. I should have been more considerate and communicated better.

Sitara: (softly) And I should have listened to your explanation without jumping to conclusions.

There is a moment of silence as they both reflect on their words. [The tension between them begins to ease.]

Gagan: (reaching out) Can we promise each other something?

Sitara: (taking his hand) What is it?

Gagan: (earnestly) Let's promise not to let misunderstandings come between us again. We need to trust and communicate with each other better.

Sitara: (nodding) Agreed. We both need to work on this. Let's not let our past mistakes dictate our future.

Gagan: (smiling) Deal.
