"THANK YOU, SHOKO" SATORU SPOKE. "no problem" shoko replied, a smile on her face. she then looked down at you, who was still injured from the fight.

shoko began to heal your wounds. "the higher-ups are furious..they want to execute y/n alongside suguru." satoru told her. "well, they did help him, no? they could've killed inumaki and panda.." shoko states bluntly.

"they deserve a chance at redemption, especially knowing how suguru manipulated them.." he replied. she let out a small chuckle. "so, you're going to war with the higher-ups again then?" shoko asked.

satoru nodded as she stood up. "sounds about right. i know that the higher-ups are so tired of seeing your face" she joked. satoru laughed. "yeah, i bet they are.."

the two said their goodbyes and shoko left. satoru looked down at you, sighing. "i'm really sorry, y/n..you shouldn't have had to suffer like that" he said to your unconscious body.

satoru then picked up your body and carried you to the bathroom. "sorry, but i have to get this blood off.." he told you. he started to run the bath water. he then began to take off your clothes, tossing them aside.

satoru put you into the tub, watching as the water slowly turned red. he turned off the water and began to wash your body. he was careful not touch anywhere that might've made you uncomfortable had you been awake.

once you were washed and all soap has been rinsed off, satoru took you out the tub and started to dry you off. he then took you out the bathroom and set you on his bed.

"let's see.." satoru went over to his closet. he settled on a plain t-shirt and some shorts of his. "those old clothes of yours were pretty fucked.." he spoke as he put the clothes on you.

once he finished, he released another sigh. "all i can do now is to wait for you to wake up.." he muttered.

satoru pulled up a chair and sat down, lost in his own thoughts as he waited for you.

FINALLY FINISHED, this story is kinda lackluster compared to the first book tho
