"I will grant you freedom as my youngest son. You are now allowed to go anywhere you want but as a rouge wolf, with our bond as a family will still be connected. But there is a condition with your demand. I will grant you your freedom, but if you cannot find your mate until you turn 25, you will be brought back here and be forced to work under your brothers as a warrior. You have seven years to find your mate and only seven years. Go now, my child, before I change my mind."
I bowed my head and took off with all my belongings, glancing back at my pack, my family, one last time. My friends, brothers, parents, and even those who helped me grow throughout the years I've been living. I was leaving them all just to find a mate. How selfish am I? Thinking about it, I wanna go back and hug them then tell them I was just kidding, that I never really want to leave them. But this stern look on my father's face kept me from doing so. Smiling through the tears as they encouraged me to go on and never look back. I was about to face the world on my own, without anyone beside me.
How dramatically cliche is it?
