Chapter 10

I knocked at the door in front of me and straightened my back. "Come in." I then pushed the door open.

"I came here to submit their files." I handed Trish the folder with all the information I could gather from my mates as their psychiatrist.

She took the folder and looked through the papers thoroughly. "Ok, seems handful but we've encountered worst before." I just hummed and took another glance at her before heading out.

As I was walking back to my mate's room, Luca came running towards me with a horrified face. "Hey, what's wrong?" I let him take a moment to catch air.

Eli howled. 'I can sense him. Brother is here! Brother is here!' Blood drained from my face as I heard it.

"Luca! Where is my brother?" He pointed to the asylum,"It's bad, your brother barged to their ward. He's not alone though, there was a pink haired fae beside him." I thanked him and ran full speed to my mate's room.

As I got near, I could hear shouts. "Who are you to punch me, you damn human!" That was definitely elder brother.

I rushed to open the door and froze right at the doorstep. There I saw my brother on top of Rein with Calium and a pink haired female held him back. Kassie was in the corner trying to rip his hair off.

Eli and I saw red then I just felt him push forward."STOP!" All of them froze and looked at my direction.

"Babe!" Kassie directly ran up to me before jumping into my arms. "Make them stop! Get them out! I don't want them here, I don't want them....uwahhh." He burst out crying while holding my coat tightly.

My heart hurts to see him like this. I looked back to my brother and gave him the nastiest glare I could muster.

"Why the fuck are you here? How did you get in?" He snarled back at me and barked, "Drop it down, omega. How dare you use such an audacious tone!" Eli and I instantly cowered away.

He must have noticed his wolf took control and tried to say something but Rein beat him to it.

"How dare you, stupid bastard. My mate is not your omega, bitch!" Then he punched my brother straight on the jaw.

The pink haired girl gasped and held tightly onto my brother's sleeve. "You fuckin-" Kassie screamed before my brother could start fighting my mate again.

I turned my attention fully to him. Kassie is an overthinker. He tends to think negatively about things and sometimes can't catch up to some jokes.

"Kass, hey I'm here babe." I hugged him tightly as I carefully untangled his fingers gripping his hair roughly that it looks like its gonna be ripped apart.

I looked back at my brother and told Calium to take them outside while I calm Rein and Kassie down.

My brother shot me an apologetic glance before exiting the room.

I ushered for Rein to come to us and he did. He wrapped his arms around us while taking deep breaths. "Hey Kassie, I'm sorry." He said after calming down.

Kassie was unresponsive. I stroked his hair and kissed the tears falling down his cheeks. "Take a light nap, babe. I promise to be here when you wake up." I rubbed my thumb against his nape and he fell asleep in an instant.

I turned my attention to Rein and gave him a peck. "Rein, tell me what happened." I asked with a gentle tone to ease up the tension.

He hesitated for a second then sighed. "You left your phone on the table. Someone called and when Calium answered, that man yelled like a madman and then hung up. After a few minutes, hae barged inside with that pink haired girl. He shouted some hurtful words to us then I got mad and hit him."

'Hug. I want to hug him. Please, M, please~' I sighed, wrapping my arms around his neck and connecting our lips together.

"You did well. Rest, I have to talk to him." Giving him a peck then standing up with his support. He gently laid Kassie on the bed then cuddled beside him.

I sighed one last time before opening the door.

All three looked up when they heard the door close. I looked at Calium and smiled gently. "They're fine, sleeping. Wanna come with us?" He glared at my brother then nodded.

"Alex, let's take a walk." I said nothing more and held Calium's hand to lead him outside.

We passed by Luca just as we were about to leave. I patted his shoulder and left my mates in his care while we talk. He just nodded and walked away.

"Patient from ward 58. I received permission to accompany him outside the institution." The guards glanced back and forth between me and Calium. They finally opened the gate and I led them to the nearby cafe.

"Speak." Once we sat at a booth far away from other humans. My brother avoided my gaze so I just look at the female beside him.

"Well....um, we-we're sorry for what happened earlier." She started off, fidgeting with her hands. "Yeah? Who are you by the way?" I asked rather in a rude tone.

My brother's head snapped towards me as he growled. Calium snarled at him in return. I held his hand to calm him down. Its also not helping that he's still in his hospital uniform. People might think we're crazy for letting out a mentally ill patient.

"I'm your brother's mate, Angelie, nice to meet you." She kindly held her hand for a shake and as a kind person that I am, of course I shook it.

I turned back my poker face and faced my brother. "Why are you here?" He frowned at glanced at Calium then back at me. "Surely you didn't forget of the condition when you left the pack almost seven years ago right?"

I felt Calium's hands tightening around mine as he heard it. "I do remember. And as you can see, I found my mate before I turned 25." I said obviously.

Alex's frown deepens and he glares at my mate who also glared in return. "I don't approve of them. You're coming with me." He stood up and yanked my hand away from Calium's.

"Fuck you!" I gasped when Alex flew away from me once Calium punched him. How can that be? Once I glanced at his eyes, they were glowing again. What?

Calium embraced me tightly, still glaring at my brother and his mate whilst my brother groaned and stood up with the help of Angelie.

"The fuck?!" He was about to charge forward but was dragged by his mate. Angelie bowed to us before excusing themselves for a second to talk.

"I'll talk some senses into your brother, don't worry, he'll apologize to your mate." I just looked at Calium in shock.

We sat down again without saying a word. I heard some strangled sobs and quickly look at my mate's direction.

I sighed and rubbed his back as comfort. "You can't leave....you can't-please, please don't leave....don't leave us. We're scared please don't leave us, Mika." Was this the real Calium or his other personality?

Either way, it still hurts my heart. Eli howled in despair while watching our mate break down in front of us.

What is this? Why do I feel like they are suffering so much inside?

There is a story I don't know of, but I know they'll tell me when they're ready. I'll wait, I'll wait for them.
