"Calium?" With cold like ice, palms rubbed into his neck, Mika turns to Keith. His face blank of any emotions.
"He's...one of my mates." Although it was a low whisper, with his wolf abilities, Keith gasps dramatically with a hand covering his wide jaw.
"But I thought your mates were humans? Two tall and bulky men with a twink like kid?"
"I mean-" Mika then snapped as if he just realized the most important thing in his life, well he did though.
"You-how do you know that?"
"What?"
"I never told you anything about what my mate's are, or what they look like. So how do you know?" Mika points out, starting to feel the shivers crawling to his spine.
"You-who are you?" His hands trembled when his supposed to be ally, smiled wickedly, ruining his pretty face.
"Run!" Before Mika could react, the doppelganger grabbed his nape and slammed him face first, to a nearby tree.
"Fuck!" He could feel his consciousness slipping away.
Before letting himself be swallowed by darkness, he caught a glimpse of a life-threatening monster. It didn't look human, more like a monster.
"Let's see if your mates can still find you if you're with me in my hell." A heart trembling laugh was all Mika heard before he finally closed his eyes.
But one thought remained in his mind.
Who's voice told him to run earlier?
Calium's Pov
"WHAT THE FUCK!"
"Ewwww, that's so disgusting. Eughh."
"Fuck you."
"Sure, right now?"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!" All three of my companions freezes while looking directly at me.
"Shut your fucking mouth, I don't want to hear it or even see it open until we reach the headquarters, and only until we reach there. Got it?" Venom was clear from my voice. Heck, it was obvious from their expressions.
"B-but-"
"WHAT the fuck did I just say, Kassie?" My submissive lover quickly cowered away with head bowed low. Exactly, how can zipping your mouth be so hard?
"Move along if you don't want me to leave you here." Then it was quite once again, our footsteps are the only one I can hear clearly.
Damn that bastard of a hunter. Once I see them again, I'll make sure to burn them down to ashes.
"Calium, look out!" Out of a daze, I didn't even notice my surroundings. A sharp looking knife flew past me, barely grazing my left cheek, then stabs itself to the open tree.
"Please...uhm focus." If it wasn't for Mika's omega friend, the knife would've penetrated through my entire face, possibly leaving a scar also.
"Yeah, thanks." I just wanna hug Mika right now. I want to hold him, kiss him, bite him, heck, I'll even suck the light out of him if given the chance to.
Looking at my other partners, they seem to have the same thought, especially Kassie. Of course, this his first time ever topping someone that he has a close relationship with.
"We're almost there, hold on for a few more, ok?" Fuck, how can I resist being soft hearted to them. Without any denial, I gathered the two in my arms and proceeded to walk with them in my arms.
"I-I have a question." Kassie murmured shyly. Unusual.
"Shoot."
"Are we-are we ready to see them again?" His question caught both Rein and I, off guard.
"Kass..." No, it wouldn't come out. Why the fuck won't it come out? Speak, tell them!
No. No. No. I can't do it. No, I can't.
"We'll be fine. Trust me." We all look at our omega mate's friend as he spoke up. Upon realizing what he just said, he quickly covers up his mouth with wide eyes.
"I-I mean, I-I don't re-really know what happened to you guys before you even met my BFF to the max, Mika. But, he told me that even if you're in this kind of situation, he doesn't believe you're mentally ill. Tha-thats, uhm yeah." His face flushed while scratching his nape and looking anywhere, except towards us.
"That's normal." Rein replied with a little tint of pink on his cheeks.
"We're his mates after all." Kassie shyly chirps in.
"And he's currently waiting for us so let's go. Wether we're ready or not, let's see in the future." Having the final word means power. And I live with that word engraved in my being.
I'll find my mate, I'll find Mika, we'll return safely, we'll work to be better, we'll be saved, and the only one who could save us needs to be saved first.
And I'll be damned if he ever loses even a strand of his hair.
