Chapter 23

Third Person Pov

The four men continued on their journey.

"Stay here." Calium turned to look at the omega wolf. Luca, confusedly tilted his head to the side.

"This is as far as you can go. Anywhere further than this can cause consequences you might not want to know." Rein answers from behind, making Luca flinch in surprise.

"But-"

"Just wait here. We'll get Mika and return safely. Here, if we don't make it out in half an hour, call for back up." Kassie tossed a handphone towards the omega, who skillfully caught it.

"But-"

"I've already marked the trees. You'll be able to find us." Luca looks back and indeed, Calium left some kind of colored rope to the trees they passed by.

"And also, if somebody looks for us, ask the code. Tell them to follow the rope. It'll lead them right to us, but DO NOT come along. Do you understand?" Seeing the hesitance on Luca's face, Calium sighs and pulls out a small gun.

"Woah there." Luca jumps back. "I trust you because you're my best friend's mate, but seriously man, why the gun?"

The taller male tilts his head in confusion. " He thinks you'll kill him." Fortunately, Kassie came to the rescue, he grabbed the gun and hands it's handle to the omega wolf.

"It's for protection. We might not know the area, but judging from the past, you just have to expect the unexpected."

"But I don't know how to use a gun." Luca hesitantly accepts it.

"It-just pull the safety pin off, aim then shoot." Rein, who seemed to be annoyed, grabbed the gun away and locates the every part then handing it back to the omega. "Uhm, thanks-I guess?"

Calium just shakes his head and motions for his lovers to follow him. "Find somewhere to hide in the meantime. Forests full of pests can't be trusted." Although the omega couldn't understand the latter part, he understood enough.

"Right. You should hurry, Mika's not waiting till tomorrow for you to come and save him." After he finished, the three went crazy and dashed in a superhuman speed.

"The fuck? I thought they were human?" Luca's head was still a bit fuzzy after inhaling something earlier.

"Fuck, I need to get laid as soon as we get back." He muttered under his breath.

~Meanwhile~

"We're about two meters close, better be silent from here on." Calium leads their small pack towards the somewhat strange yet familiar area.

"Wait, Cal." Kassie manages to grab unto the taller man, yanking him to his level.

"Are you sure you're ready for this? I need your honesty right now." Despite being a submissive, Kassie still has authority, and Mika was a witness to that.

"I-"

"We don't want your lies, Cal. Don't you remember? Whenever we keep something from one another, someone has to pay the price, coincidentally or not." Rein interrupts as Calium was getting ready to lie about his feelings once again.

"Exactly. Let me tell you honestly, this is what I feel." Then, Kassie grabs their hand and then leans it towards his raising heartbeat. This doesn't shock both his lovers as they know him to be ten times of everything they are.

"This is not fear, it's excitement. I'm excited because after all those years we've been through thick and thin, we finally get to have our revenge." Kassie starts to tear up as his voice trembled along with his hands.

Rein was quick to comfort his lover, wrapping his arms on the brunette's thin waist. "Kassie, do you hear it? My heart beast's the same way as yours are. Calium?"

The dominant man remains silent as he stares at his lovers, embracing themselves as they look up to him with eyes sparkling.

Without even the slightest resistance, he enclosed the other two in a love hug, which they often do before Mika entered their lives. "Its amazing how our hearts could beat in sync like it was never even beating differently before. Is this how it feels to be complete?" Kassie questions.

"We're not complete yet, Kas. Our omega is waiting for his three musketeers to come and be his prince charming." Calium laughs then playfully bites his lovers necks.

"Can Mika's parent's wait? I wanna get laid right after this." Kassie huffs. Rein only chuckles, licking the smaller man's earlobes.

"I could do it for you." But his seduction wasn't getting past the almighty Kassie. "Yeah, no thanks. As much as I loved being filled to fertility, I would rather much love to fill a delicate omega swollen with my children." Both his doms laughs at this. "Oh you damn dirty bitch."

As they were flirting, they forgot how close they were to the enemy's territory. A man with a sniper rifle aims at the three oblivious human's.

"Targets located, I repeat, Target's located." He waited for the signal to start shooting the three. And just as his earpiece buzzed, a bullet came in contact with his face, entering from his jaw.

Out of shock, the man spurts out a large sum of blood. He looks back from the lovebirds and what he saw sent chills all over his soon-to-be corpse, body.

There was a mixture of black, red, and white hue with starking evil glowing eyes full of hunger. Their lips were stretched wide, almost reaching their ears.

Monsters!

He wanted to scream.
