Alana's pov:

"She goes back in two days Tree, two days that's it, that's all I've got left before she gives up on herself again." I heard Taylor say as I slowly woke up, however hearing her voice so worried made me force my eyes to stay shut, not wanting to interrupt in this conversation I was the main topic of.

"You have to have a little more faith in her Tay, maybe she'll try and change her mindset and work towards getting better while in a setting she's familiar in, a place she's more comfortable." Tree replied, her tone showing she didn't exactly believe what she was saying either.

She was extremely far off in that guess, once I was back at the foster home I would be back down to no meals a day, walking for hours and cutting to cope.

I could practically feel the look Taylor gave to redhead, "This is Alana we are talking about here Tree."

"Okay, maybe not, but you need to understand that you can't always be there to watch her every movement and protect her from everything out there to hurt her, as much as you want to, it isn't possible. Alana has been through a lot, and everything she struggles with now is the direct impact of that - what I'm trying to say is that it's going to take much more than a week of forceful feeding and 1-1 time to have her happy and healthy."

"I'm trying to help her, I need to help her, I just don't want her to hate me in the process. I don't know when I'm pushing too hard, or when I'm being too soft and letting her slip away."

"It's just tough love Tay, you know what's best for her, she doesn't, not while her brain is as malnourished as it is."

And after that my eyes shot open, I couldn't bare them talking about me anymore, I felt sick to my stomach knowing Taylor was as worried as she was. Taylor was about to reply to the redhead, however Tree quickly gave the blonde a look before softening her gaze onto me, "Hey my love, did you sleep okay?"

I forced a smile, hiding all the annoyance and betrayal I had bubbling inside of me that neither Tree or Taylor had any faith in me what so ever, they both thought of me like some sick freak, "Yeah, it was fine." I reply bluntly, pulling myself up off of Taylors lap and sitting crossed legged. I placed the small stuffed bunny onto my lap and focused all of my attention onto it, playing with the ears as they were the softest part, not giving anything to the two women to work with and start conversation.

Even though I wasn't paying attention, nor wanting to give them any attention, the both of them continued to talk at me and ask me questions. I gave them blunt answers each time, however one thing the redhead said sparked my whole attention, "You slept through lunch, it's three now, let's go and get you something to eat."
