Hello dear reader,
Before you delve into my work, which I greatly appreciate you doing, I'd like you to keep a few things in mind.
At the time of writing this, I am still a teenager who has navigated experiences of emotional growth, periods of profound sadness, and all the other typical teenage trials. I want anyone who reads this to understand that these experiences are entirely normal. It saddens me to see some teenagers struggle to cope with their issues, while I have found solace in writing.
Secondly, many of these "stories" are primarily fictional, though some stark truths from my younger years. I want to provide a fair warning in advance. To differentiate between the made-up, the angsty, or the real, I have a list of abbreviations for you to check (these will be added to every title):
[PE] -> Personal Experience. This could include themes such as abuse.
[FS] -> Fictional Story. This might contain elements of adult themes, such as light NSFW content or age gaps, usually within a romance context.
Thirdly, you don't have to read this if you stumbled upon it by accident! This portfolio is primarily for myself to track my writing progress and for those interested in critiquing my latest work. If you do get inspired, I'm glad I could help!
I highly recommend writing. Though I am originally Dutch, writing in English as a prefered language to perfectly capture my experiences and accurately process them. I also want to add that I am currently fine! Some stories may be angsty, but please remember that this is NOT a cry for help. I am sure many of you can relate.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy whatever you decide to do! Take care :)
- Anna
