Kris the Kricketune plays a sharp and long note, before Valor yells onstage to signal the party's attention: "Attention, everybody! The Mayor has an announcement to make!"

Dave, on the pulpit again, clears his voice and announces, "Hello, everyone. I hope you all are enjoying the festivities so far! But, I would just like to interrupt the music for several minutes, or rather, add to the music, with a public karaoke session!"

The crowd cheers and claps. The Mayor continues, "If you would like to participate, come right up to the stage and dazzle us with your beautiful singing voices!"

Thunder and Pinky had met back up in the front, near the stage.

"So, how many votes did you think you got for us, Thunder?" She asks him excitedly.

"Uhh, like...fifteen?" He scratches his head.

"Fifteen?! I got like fifty!" Pinky yells, astonished.

"Urrgh, well, maybe asking for votes was a bad idea for me." Thunder shakes his head, though he was determined to build back up his ego. "But look, I'm going to participate in the karaoke, and that's bound to attract some mon."

"Oh, you're good at singing, Thundie?" She winks. "I've never heard you sing before."

He shrugs as he leaves, but still confidently asserts: "Well, of course. I'm the best at everything."

He goes behind the stage and asks Claire, the event manager, for permission to sing. She accepts his request.

"Alright, please be quiet, every mon," The Mayor announces, "Our prideful, formerly wild Jolteon, Thunder Star, is going to sing for us!"

The crowd claps, albeit some members halfheartedly.

"This stupid mayor Jolteon is so full of himself." Thunder mutters upon the mention of him being wild again.

The crowd quiets down once Thunder gets onstage. He coughs, before telling the drummers, "Hey, y'all, give me a sick beat!"

The Eeveelutions look wordlessly at each other, as if reading each other's minds, and then begin simultaneously playing a hip-hop beat.

Thunder begins singing in a rather scratchy voice:

"Hey yo, everyone, y'know,

I'm the best in town!

No doubt, I should be the one winning the crown

At the end, cuz y'all should vote for me as King

Since I got big, cool muscles

That'll shake you all in your...uhh...scuffles?"

The drummers stopped playing after he messed up. The crowd was so silent you could hear a pin drop. Pinky was cringing at him, murmuring "Thunder...what the hell?"

The Mayor scratched his chin, silently wondering if taking such pride in his "reformed Jolteon" was such a good thing after all.

"Urm, v-very interesting singing, Thunder..."

Suddenly, a uniformed Umbreon wearing a disappointed smile walks in from the opposite side of the stage. It was none other than Valor, of course.

"My Chief?" The Mayor notices him.

Valor was looking at Thunder, however, "Hey, since we're buddies, man, let me make up for your mess."

"What?" Thunder stood on stage, flustered and red in the face.

Valor clears his throat and snaps his fingers towards the drummers. They start to play another hip-hop beat.

While still looking at Thunder, he begins eloquently rapping:
