Robby ignored her calls and text messages. He was rightfully upset but at the wrong person. Isabelle had no idea that they had a performance, and there was no way for her to know since they didn't text at all that day. She let out a defeated groan as she flopped back onto the bed. Miguel glanced up at her from where he was lying on the floor.
"Everything okay?" he asked, further concerned as Isabelle rolled onto her stomach and let out a scream into a pillow. "I'll take that as a 'I'm still pissed at you. Go get me sweets'. On it, anything you're specifically craving?" Isabelle lobbed a pillow at him in response. "Ice cream it is."
Isabelle let out another groan as her phone started to buzz. She lifted her head from under the pillows and blindly searched the bed for her phone. Finally, grabbing it, she answered the call.
"Hello?" she mumbled pathetically into the phone. She was in a state of self-pity and anger, surrounded by a cocoon of blankets.
"I thought I'd receive a more cheery greeting, considering you've been blowing up my phone all morning," Robby sarcastically said through the phone.
Isabelle immediately perked up, "Robby! I didn't check the caller ID. I'm so glad you called. I'm so sorry your performance last night got sabotaged, unknowingly, by me. I swear if I had known you guys had something planned first, I would've—"
"It's fine. It's not fair of me to blame you for something you had no part in. While you did plan the event, you didn't know the actual purpose of the event. I can't blame you for getting manipulated by my dad. Been there, done that," Robby grumbled.
Isabelle chuckled, "I'm glad you don't blame me. I was so ready to just rot in bed all day feeling sorry for myself."
"Oh well, that's unacceptable. How about you come with me and LaRusso to a fancy beach club instead? We barely hang out now that I moved out of my apartment. I miss you."
Isabelle smiled, heartwarming at his confession. "Yeah, that sounds great. I can be ready in an hour."
Miguel walked in right as she finished the call. He was surprised to find her beaming on the bed. He didn't say anything as he handed her a bowl of cookie dough ice cream, her favorite. Miguel simply raised his brow questioningly and titled his head.
"Robby called and said he doesn't blame me for what happened. He invited me to go to the beach with him," Isabelle clarified at Miguel's expression.
"Oh, that's nice, so you won't be coming to training today?" he asked her.
Isabelle got up and stretched, "Of course not. I will leave slightly early, but he invited me to go after. Ironically, Miyagi-Do's training is at the same time as Cobra Kai's, so it works out perfectly for me."
Miguel just shrugged, "If you say so, are you gonna eat that ice cream?" He asked as he reached for it, ready to devour it all.
"Yes, I am," Isabelle declared as she smacked away his hand. "I would never reject blessings such as ice cream for breakfast." She stuck her tongue out at him, causing him to laugh and roll his eyes.

Isabelle heard yelling from the back storage room. Concerned, she approached an irritated Johny and a short older man.
"Is everyone alright back here?" Isabelle inquired, concerned about the aggressive nature of their discussion.
Johny scoffed, "He's the landlord, and he's raising our rent because we have more students now."
The landlord just laughed mockingly, "That is exactly what I'm doing. You have more students. You have more money. You have more money. You pay more rent. Yeah? And I give you storage room for free."
