Isabelle woke up wrapped in Miguel's arms. They had stayed up late last night catching up and kissing, but eventually, they both passed out on the bed. Seeing the time, she shook Miguel awake.

"Ten more minutes," he groaned out, slapping Isabelle's hand away.

She giggled at his cute, sleepy grumbles, "We have to get up. It's the first day of school, and I need to raid your closet for clothes."

"Morning," he grumbled out, groggily rubbing his eyes.

Isabelle smiled at him, her heart warming at the sight of his messy hair and sleepy expression. "Come on, sleepyhead," she teased, planting a soft kiss on his forehead. "We need to get moving."

Miguel sighed dramatically but couldn't hide the smile tugging at his lips. "Alright, alright," he conceded, getting out of bed. "You can raid my closet, but I still have some of your clothes here."

Isabelle giggled, playfully rolling her eyes. "I knew I was missing clothes." She hopped off the bed and made her way to his closet, rummaging through his clothes before pulling out a cropped white shirt and her favorite baggy jeans that had red stars on the back pockets, along with her matching red Converse.

Miguel watched her, a tender look in his eyes. "You know," he said softly, "I could get used to waking up like this."

Isabelle glanced over her shoulder, her heart fluttering at his words. "Me too," she admitted with a shy smile. "Now hurry up and get ready, or we'll both be late." With a shared laugh, they quickly got dressed and prepared for the day.

Isabelle glanced at her phone, seeing missed calls and messages from Robby. She bit her lip, feeling guilty. "I need to let Robby know I'm okay."

Miguel sighed, his hand reaching up to brush her hair back. "Yeah, you should. He's probably worried."

Isabelle nodded, standing up and grabbing her clothes. "I'll be quick."

Miguel watched her, his eyes filled with affection and concern. "Just remember, we're in this together now."

Isabelle smiled, leaning down to kiss him softly. "I know." As she walked out of the room to call Robby, Miguel stretched, feeling a strange mix of contentment and anxiety. He loved Isabelle, but he knew their situation was complicated. He just hoped they could find a way to make it work.

Robby glanced at his phone, worried about Isabelle since she didn't text more than a thumbs-up last night to signal she was safe. He walked into his dad's kitchen. After he found Sam late last night, she refused to go home drunk, so he brought her to the only place he thought of: his dad's apartment.

"Hey," Robby greeted his dad, who was cooking in the kitchen. "Thanks for letting us crash here last night."

Johny nodded, "It's no problem, but look, I'm gonna have to tell LaRusso about this. It's his kid."

Robby cringed, imagining Daniel's reaction, "If he sees her like this, it'll crush him. Let me take the blame. I'll say I got drunk and told Sam to bring me here." Johny hesitantly nodded, trusting Robby's judgment.

Someone started to frantically knock on the front door.

"Johny?" Daniel called out. "Johny, come on. I saw your car outside. I know you're in there. Open up."

Johny grabbed Robby's shoulder. "Go into the other room. I got your back." Robby nodded, allowing Johny to open the front door as much as the attached chain would allow.

"Johnny, is my daughter here?" Daniel asked, concerned for Sam's well-being. He tried to view what was behind Johny, craning his neck, but Johny blocked his view completely.
