Chapter 5: "Park"

"Park. I want to go to the park, mommy." A little girl pleasing to her mother.

"No! You're staying here. Maglaro ka na lang sa kwarto mo. I have things to do." The mother stated to her daughter but the kid can't stop herself to cry causing her mom to get irritated.

"Ano ba? Hindi ka ba titigil?! Can't you see marami akong ginagawa? Kung gusto mo, ikaw pumunta mag isa sa park." She raised her voice to her daughter.

"Ano ba 'yan, hon? Pinapagalitan mo nanaman 'yang anak mo?" A man came from the kitchen and shut her wife. "Ano ba gusto ng anak ko, hmm? H'wag na iyak, nandito na si daddy." He approach his child and started to comfort her. "I-I want to go t-to the park, but mommy don't let me..." The little girl cried to her father that made his father feel sad for his daughter.

"Okay, I'll get you the park, bili tayo mint choco ice cream, gusto mo ba 'yon?" He cheerfully stated to his daughter. "Opo!" The little girl started to smile that brighten her father's. "'Yan... kaya na s-spoiled 'yang anak mo eh... palagi mong pinagbibigyan. Hanggang paglaki n'yan, ganyan s'ya." The mother protesting her husband, crossing her arms. "Ano ka ba naman, hon? Kung ayaw mo, eh di kami na lang. Our daughter don't need for you to come kung ganyan ka sa kanya." The woman rolled her eyes and walk upstairs. "Hindi talaga ako sasama."

The husband just let her be. He get his car keys and hold his child's little hands. "Alright... wag ka masyado maglikot ha? Halika muna lagyan ko towel 'yang likod mo. For sure papawisan ka nanaman mamaya."

"Opo, daddy!" The little girl's response that leave a bright smile to her dad. Okay, let's go na." And the both of them got in the car and straight ahead to the park.

𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟

"Hi, ate!" A random chinita kid approaches the little girl. "Hello." She greeted back and gives her a smile.

Chinita kid: "Bakit ka mag isa dito? Asan 'yung parents mo?"

Little girl: "Ayun oh, nakaupo sa may bench. His my dad."

Chinita kid: "Ahh... asan yung mommy mo?"

Little kid: Ayaw n'ya sumama sa'min eh. I guess, she hates me.

Chinita kid: Ganun ba? You want, play tayo?

Little kid: *Shook her head* Ayaw~ Daddy told me not to come with strangers.

Chinita kid: Then we can introduce para hindi na tayo strangers. What's your name?

Little kid: No... Hindi pwede, your a stranger.

Chinita kid: Okay, we can have our own nicknames. We can call each other boo. She laugh as she stated.

Little girl: Sounds interesting huh. Okay... I'll call you boo.
