Blaire walked briskly through the Senate building's hallways, her thoughts occupied by the conversation she just had with Senator Risa. As she turned a corner, her eyes caught sight of a man she had never seen before. He was dressed sharply in a suit, holding a folder, and walking with an air of purpose. "Who's...?" Intrigued, Blaire glanced back, watching the man continue on his way before she shook her head and kept walking toward the parking lot.

Driving through the bustling streets, Blaire's mind wandered back to the suspension of Mayor Alice. The growing connection she felt with Alice was something she couldn't ignore, yet she also had her duties and responsibilities to the Senate and the country. Needing a moment of solace, she decided to stop by her favorite bakery. She parked her car and walked inside, the familiar scent of freshly baked pastries providing a brief comfort. She bought a few of her favorite pastries and got back into her car, driving home with a mix of anticipation and anxiety.

As she approached her house, she noticed an unfamiliar car parked in her driveway. Blaire's heart skipped a beat. She parked her car and walked cautiously toward her door. Pushing it open, she found a man sat in his couch, waiting for her.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Blaire demanded, trying to keep her voice steady.

The man stood up, a somber look on his face. "Blaire, I needed to see you. May bago akong lead tungkol kay Austin."

Blaire felt a pang of pain at the mention of their son. "Here we go again. Ilang taon na tayong naghahanap. Wala na si Austin," she said, her voice breaking slightly.

He handed her a newspaper, pointing to an article about a recent police operation that rescued several kidnapped children. "Blaire, look. Baka may pag-asa pa. We owe it to Austin to keep looking."

Blaire's eyes scanned the article, her heart heavy with conflicting emotions. "Ilang beses na tayong nabigo. I can't keep doing this to myself," she said, pushing the newspaper away.

The man's voice rose slightly, frustration evident. "Hindi mo ba naiisip na baka buhay pa siya? Blaire, you're giving up too easily."

Blaire felt a surge of anger. "Hindi ko 'to ginusto. Pero apat na taon na tayong walang nakikitang lead. Hindi ko na kayang magpatuloy ng ganito," she retorted, her eyes welling up with tears.

The man stepped closer, his voice softening. "Blaire, he needs us. Kahit na gaano kahirap, please, consider yourself to try once again."

Blaire shook her head, the weight of the past years bearing down on her. "I can't keep holding on to false hope. It's tearing me apart."

He sighed, looking at her with a mix of sadness and determination. "Blaire, kahit na hindi tayo magkasama, we need to be united for him. Kung susuko ka, gagawin ko ang lahat para mahanap siya."

Blaire wiped her tears, taking a deep breath. " Mahal ko si Austin. But I need to move forward. Hindi ko kayang mabuhay sa patuloy na sakit at pag-asa na wala namang kasiguraduhan."
