Jaime's pov - Kings LandingWalking into one of the rooms of the Red Keep I saw my sister and someone painting a map on the floor who she sent a look at and they scampered off leaving just the two of us in the room alone. "What is this?" I questioned eyeing the painted map.
"It's what we've been waiting for our whole lives. It's what father trained us for whether he knew it or not." She explained wearing an all black and scaly dress with her hair cut like a boy's since the last time I'd seen her.
"He knew it. He made me memorize every damn city, town, lake, forest and mountain."
She said proudly turning around to face me standing in the opposite corner of the room. "It's ours, now we just have to take it. You've been quiet since you've been home. Are you angry with me?"
"No, not angry."
She pressed on. "Are you afraid of me?"
"I'm afraid of what you could do to my family."
My sister corrected me. "I'm your family."
"You're my family, yes. But not my wife and children. Now you're just my sister."
Cersei glared at me snorting out a laugh. "You poor fool. You aren't as smart as you think you are. She doesn't care for you. She simply needed you to escape Robert, then me and now she'll likely fall back in her twisted ways now that she has her little sister back."
"Daenerys captured her on the battlefield, I've been told. I am going to get my wife and children back from her."
"Do you want to know what information I've heard about this Mother of Dragons hmm." My sister clasped her hands together. "Daenerys Targaryen has named Tyrion to be her Hand. He stands beside our enemies and gives them counsel. He's out there somewhere at the head of an armada. Where will they land?"
"Dragonstone." I glanced at the map underneath my boots seeing a familiar dragon household. Vaella was undoubtedly taken there . "They have deep-water ports for the ships. Stannis left the castle unoccupied, and that's where she was born."
She walked around tapping the different areas with the tip of her shoes. "Enemies to the east. Enemies to the south...Ellaria Sand and her brood of bitches. Enemies to the west...Olenna, the old cunt. Another traitor. Enemies to the north. Ned Stark's bastard has been named King in the North and that murdering whore Sansa stands beside him. Enemies everywhere. We're surrounded by traitors. You're in command of the Lannister army now. How do we proceed?"
"Winter is here. We can't win a war if we can't feed our men and our horses. The Tyrells have the grain, the Tyrells have the livestock. But I refuse to help you wipe out Vaella's last bit of Targaryen family she has left." I shake my head knowing she wouldn't stop until all the enemies were wiped out completely.
My twin ignored my last sentence. "Will the Tyrell bannermen stand alongside a Dothraki horde and Unsullied slave soldiers?"
"If they think Daenerys will win. No one wants to fight on the losing side. Right now, we look like the losing side." I scoffed in her direction. "And did you not hear what I said? I won't help you with starting a war."
"I'm the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms."
Rolling my eyes I just wanted this conversation to be over. "Three kingdoms, at best. I'm not sure you understand how much danger you're in."
"How much danger we're in. You can't possibly think that the Dragon princess whore actually cares about the Knight who killed her father." She picks up a glass of wine, changing the subject once more. "I understand we're in a war for survival. I understand whoever loses dies. I understand whoever wins could launch a dynasty that lasts a thousand years and it should be us."
