Our entire group of fighters had surrounded the table with a map spread out showing our army and what army Cersei had at her disposal. My sister shifted her gaze around the room. "Cersei will make sure they don't believe it. She will make sure that no one knows that we defeated the greatest threat. We will hit her hard. We will rip her out root and stem."
"The objective here is to remove Cersei without destroying King's Landing." Tyrion eyed his Queen. Hopefully they were thinking of the same plan.
Varys explained back. "Thankfully, she's losing allies by the day. Yara Greyjoy has retaken the Iron Islands in her queen's name. The new Prince of Dorne pledges his support."
"No matter how many lords turn against her, as long as she sits on the Iron Throne, she can call herself Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. We need the capital." My sister sighed heavily.
Tyrion had an idea pop inside his head. "I watched the people of King's Landing rebel against their king when they were hungry, and that was before winter began. Give them the opportunity and they will cast Cersei aside."
Standing beside Jaime I tapped my fingers on the table recalling something recorded in my family history. "Tyrion is right. I once acted as commoner at one of the taverns in the streets of Kings Landing. Down in the streets it is simply survival of the fittest. Surviving with whatever supplies you can either steal or whatever the citizens in the Red Keep give out to you. If we get the people on our side then Cersei won't last for long."
"We'll surround the city. If the Iron Fleet tries to ferry in more food, the dragons will destroy them. If the Lannisters and the Golden Company attack, we'll defeat them in the field." Jon had his hands together in front of his chest.
Tyrion nodded in agreement to what Jon and I were suggesting. "Once the people see that Cersei is our only enemy, her reign is over."
"You get the people of the city on our side and she will fall shortly after. Whoever sits the Iron Throne is nothing if they don't have the support of the common people behind them." Jaime smiles remembering when I told him the late tale of how Rhaenyra has gained the support of the common people against her half brothers Aegon and Aemond.
"All right." My sister nodded her head slowly in agreement with me.
Sansa entered the conversation with her younger sister right beside her. "Half of our men and yours have been able to rest but the food that I have prepared for winter is all of our food for a very long time. Are you suggesting we give it to the people as a sign?"
"I came north to fight alongside you at great cost to my armies and myself. Now that the time has come to reciprocate, you want to postpone." Dany glared at the young lady of Wintefell.
Leaning my palms forward on the table I cut into their conversation. "It doesn't have to be a huge amount. But we must destroy any chance of any other food getting into the city."
"The longer I leave my enemies alone, the stronger they become." Dany growled.
Sansa snapped back. "I'm having to feed double the amount of people we ever had before and many dragons. Forgive me if I'm not fully in agreement with giving our supplies away."
"The Northern forces will honor their promises and their allegiance to the Queens of the Seven Kingdoms. What you command, we will obey." Jon could sense the tension between the two women.
Jaime cleared his throat knowing we had another option since we were in control of Casterly Rock. "The Rock is still in operation under me and my wife's command. Meaning we would have food made available if the people here in the North can spare their food to get the people of King's Landing on our side."
