"My reign isn't going to be over, Targaryen whore. You will never get the Iron Throne from me." Cersei slowly moved around the room, never moving her gaze off of me.
Slightly tilting my chin up a little higher I clasped my hands together in front of my chest walking around the table that was near the edge of the room. "I have no desire to seat the throne. But I cannot let the realm be ruled by someone like you."
"You should remember that I am currently the most powerful woman in the Seven Kingdoms." She glared at me.
I matched her glare moving my shoulders where I was standing more confidently against the golden lioness before me. "You can't be an amry of dragons."
"Not all at the same time, no. But I can remove them and their riders one by one. Apparently starting with one of your children." The blonde woman tilted her head peeking out the window before walking away from it.
A dragon's shriek pulls me away from my intense stare down with the Lannister Queen. Rushing past her I leaned out of the window trying to see what had happened. I didn't worry that she could simply push me over the edge and kill me considering how high up we were from the city streets.
Squinting my eyes closed just a bit I caught sight of the figure falling from the sky. The familiar flying of white hair that could only belong to my eldest daughter. Luciya and her dragon had her wings wrapped around her body till they landed down on one of the brothel buildings. The building began crumbling underneath the large dragons body creating a large area of smoke to fill the air. "Luciya! No!" I screamed out so loud I wasn't sure how I could have much of a voice at all.
"Love no one but your children. On that front a mother has no choice." Cersei declared while I just stared over the stone wall, heavy tears were falling down my face so terrified that my daughter might be hurt or worse dead.
Clutching my hands into fists I spun around to be face to face with her. "Why would you do this. We had no intention of attacking you or the people. We just needed to destroy the food and then you would lose the support of all the people."
"I don't care about the people. I don't care about their happiness. I only care about myself and keeping the power that I have worked to get for years." She didn't show any remorse across her face and it sickened me to think that she reminded me very much of my father. Aerys wasn't a good father and he certainly wasn't a great king either. He did whatever he wanted and she appears to be doing the exact same thing all to just keep her seat on a chair of cold swords.
Reaching for the sword behind my back I slowly moved my feet backwards to the window. I whipped my head around shouting out the large open window. "You don't deserve your crown, Cersei and I'm going to make sure as hell you don't keep it - Amethyst!" I could hear her roar coming across the land until I saw her body dive down. Climbing over the railing I jumped down landing on her saddle and snapping the reins shooting up into the sky with her flying as fast as she ever had.
I blinked through some tears flying up towards a patch of clouds. My dragon does a few turns before we dive down to the water and ground below us. Scanning over the area I wanted so bad to burn every single one of the spears for what they had just done to injure my daughter. "Woah! Easy, easy Amethyst - seven hells!" I cursed clutching onto her reins watching one of the buildings slightly off in the distance for me to see a familiar bright green explosion that could only be wildfire.
Different dragon roars were surrounding me but I was finding it difficult to pinpoint the exact one that was triggering the explosions. A couple more blasted off beginning to destroy sections of the city streets till the particular dragon zoomed in the direction of the Red Keep causing me to follow after whoever it was. "Dracarys!" The people on the streets began screaming and running away from the dragon that was flying above them. The green fire quickly began spreading from building to building, every single one that had some more burning fire around it or inside the building.
I felt a tightness forming inside where I clutched the front of my chest. I was so horrified that my sister would be the one to hurt the city, never expecting it could be one of my own children. And I couldn't deny it once I had seen the familiar head of hair and a blue and gray figure that had to be Stormfly. "Rhaegar - What the hell do you think you're doing!" I shouted flying behind the familiar dragon till I was able to fly in front and block him from going anywhere.
My first born boy had his hair all tousled in front of his face and his face was stained with tears and all red from crying uncontrollably over what they had recently done. "Cersei shot down my sister. She - she shot her down."
"I saw, baby." I sniffed through some tears with the image still fresh in my mind.
Rhaegar shakes his head while more tears come falling down his face. "She could be dead and it's all the Queen's fault. We have to do something about it!"
"Destroying King's Landing and the people is only going to fix what you're feeling for a split second. These people are innocent and don't deserve to suffer through burning alive because of Wildfire."
He made a confused expression. "What's Wildfire?"
"I hoped to tell you and your siblings this story when you were much older but I don't have much of a choice now." I heavily sighed, slumping my shoulders and doing my best to not start bawling my eyes out at remembering who my father was. "My father, your grandfather Aerys II had lost his mind after he was held hostage by a foreign group so by the time he was rescued he wasn't the man he used to be. He believed everyone was against him, even his own family members. The form of punishment that he enjoyed to use the most is called Wildfire. The green substance can burn metal and flesh. The burning and smell of bodies is a horrible memory that will haunt me till the end of my days."
"Is that what the green explosions were when I burned some of the buildings?' Rhaegar asked me looking over his shoulder at the green smoke.
Nodding my head, yes I bite my lip shifting my gaze towards the smoke. "Yes, Wildfire burns when a flame is shot into the green liquid. But that isn't the point of this."
"So you're saying we shouldn't fight back, get revenge, anything?" Rhaegar raised his voice slightly at me.
"Rhaegar, I understand why you want revenge but I swear to you that it won't fix what you're feeling. We came into this city without bloodshed. We need the people of the city on our side and against Cersei. As your Queen I command you to stand down. But as your mother I am begging you to not do this and be the sweet boy that I know you are."
My son silently stared at me while some of the Wildfire flames began to die down underneath us. He bent his head down slowly responding to me. "I'll stop, mommy."
"Good choice, my boy - Cersei's trying to leave." Focusing my attention on the Red Keep tower I watched Cersei staring at me. She glared down at me sharply turning and heading towards the doorway. I yanked my dragons' reigns flying headfirst to the Keep, landing down on one of the old ledges that had begun to fall apart. Sliding down the old stone roofline I dropped down and into the room we were in minutes ago racing after her down the stairs. Sliding into the map room I hit one of the columns shifting my gaze to the figure standing in the center of the map, Cersei Lannister.
She strides across the room until there is barely any space between us. The two of us are now great leaders and not afraid to throw a punch at the other whenever one of us makes the first move. "Here we are the little dragon attempting to take out the lioness."
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." I responded shifting my gaze over her shoulder seeing Jaime leaning his body against one of the large round columns, never looking over at me and I knew it couldn't really be him but someone else secretly behind his face.
Cersei snapped at me spinning around on her feet and nearly collapsing to the stone floor by who she was before her. "What are you looking at - J -Jaime." Biting my lip I prayed that she would believe the little white lie that we were doing right underneath her nose.
