A few months later

Amethyst's wings flapped tiredly in the harsh winter winds while I dove down to the ground flying over the heads of my old Valyrian bannermen.  We had every single dragon from the island flying behind us and my sisters, two included after she had lost one at the Wall.  "I am pleased that our two queens seem to be getting along finally.  I really didn't want to have to choose between my friend or the woman I believe in."

Jaime rode on a black horse beside his little brother. "Are you sure the Northerners will welcome us in with our dragon queens?"

"The Northerners are loyal to their own, " I've been told.  Jon Snow is one of them.  And for that we must trust that will be enough." His brother responded.

Jaime shakes his head no glancing up into the sky, meeting my gaze while I was riding on dragonback. "There's only one person beside you that I put my trust in and it's my dragon princess."

"Dragon Queen, you mean?" Tyrion corrected him with a smile.

Jaime chuckled back. "Yes, my Dragon Queen."

"Would that mean I should be calling you King now?"

He raised a brow at his brother. "Let's not go down that road just yet. I've just now gotten used to be called Lord Lannister."

Squinting my eyes I finally could see a small building that I could only assume was Winterfell.  Everyone below us was either running or staring up in awe at the creatures none of them had seen for over 17 years since the fall of my family's reign.  My sister's two dragons flew over the top of the castle before I led my army of dragons out into the woods and we landed there so as not to scare the Northern people too much then we already had.  Trucking through the snow Jaime was galloping on horseback to the edge of the godswood seeing me where he came right to me offering his hand. "Come, your sister is meeting Lady Stark right now."

He helped me up on his horse where we rode quickly back to the castle and through the gate entrance seeing my sister and Jon talking with the eldest Stark daughter.  Dismounting the horse before Jaime had come to a complete stop I bolted towards her until I remembered the proper greeting. "Sansa! I mean Lady Stark." I curtsy to her holding the sides of my gown.

"Queen Vaella Targaryen - my apologies I meant Lannister." She sent me a kind smile bowing her head at me in respect.

"Sansa!"  Closing the distance between us I flung my arms around and she did the same around me where we remained that way for a few more minutes until I broke it holding her forearms. "You've grown up since I saw you last."

"My skin was turned to porcelain, to ivory, to steel.  So yes you could say I've grown quite a lot since we saw one another the last time." She declares to me with a brave look crossing her features.

Flashing her a proud smirk she certainly wasn't the young and innocent girl I had seen back in Kings Landing all those years ago. "I'm impressed, Lady Stark and thank you for offering your home to us."

"I'll allow you and your army to get settled in.  The dragons can remain in the Godswood so long as they don't begin burning things down.  Then you and I will need to speak with your sister about an alternative option." She reminded me, walking over to her bastard brother Jon.

The old Valyria soldiers had brought everything into the children's room and my joined room with Jaime.  Standing in front of the fireplace I tossed some new wood into the fire before I tossed on the winter cloak I had prepared for the journey.  The cloak was black with some red fur on the shoulders and a golden lion clasp holding it together.  Walking through the fresh fallen snow I made my way up the set of stairs seeing Jaime and Tyrion talking together. "So... ...we're going to die at Winterfell.  Not the death I would've chosen.  I always pictured myself dying in my own bed, the age of 80, with a belly full of wine and-"
