A/N: This is quite a long chapter. Sorry in advance! I just wanted to finish up the Charlotte storyline and kind of speed this up. I feel like my story is going at a slow pace, which I don't mind, but I know some readers may find it annoying! But I also want to do their romance justice, and I don't want to rush it. I feel like a lot of Bellarke stories are super rushed and unrealistic.
Anyways, I'm done yapping. Enjoy!

Clarke's Pov:
One of the 100 killed Wells. And I knew who did it. I stormed away from Bellamy when I saw the blade's handle.
"Clarke, where are you going?" He called out behind me. He jogged up to me and grabbed my arm.
I turned around to face him. "Let go of me, Bellamy!" I shouted angrily.
"I asked you a question," he said.
"I'm going to confront Wells' killer," I said flatly.
He rolled his eyes and said,"We don't know who did it. Don't be stupid, Clarke." Then, he slowly let go of my arm.
"Oh, really? Well, did you even look at the knife because to me, it's very clear who did it," I said, and then I pointed to the letters engraved on the inside, "J.M. John Murphy."
Before Bellamy could stop me, I shoved Murphy. "You son of a bitch! You killed Wells!" I shouted at him.
"Woah there, I didn't kill anyone," he said, holding his hands up.
"Oh, really?" I said, then held up his knife, "What's this then? And why was it next to where we found Wells?"
"Look, I don't know why the hell my knife was there, but I didn't kill Wells. Besides, plenty of people wanted Chancellor Jr. dead," he said. By now, a crowd has gathered around us.
"You're the only one who has gotten into a knife fight with him!" I exclaimed. Then I turned my direction to the 100. "Is this what you guys want? A society where people can kill others without repercussions?"
That is when chaos broke out. Someone shouted, "I say we float him!" The crowd erupted into murmurs of approval.
"No, no! That's not what I meant! Revenge isn't justice!" I called back. Nothing I said seemed to make them back down.
"He deserves it!" The same guy called out. Then, in an instant, Murphy was on the ground. They were beating him up.
"Stop!" I called out.
They gathered seat belts from the dropship and tied a slipknot on one end. They threw the other end over a tree. A box was placed under the knot. Everything was happening so quickly.
I turned to Bellamy, "Stop this! They listen to you, " I pleaded.
It was then they started to chant, "Bellamy!" They wanted him to kick the box from beneath Murphy.
He looked between the box and me. "No. No! Bellamy, don't do it!" I pleaded once more. It was like a nightmare. He walked over and kicked it without any remorse or regret on his face.
He walked away from the box. I pushed him and hit his chest, as tears of anger spilled. He pushed past me
"How could you?" I asked angrily.
Bellamy turned back to me. "This is on you, Princess. You should have kept your mouth shut!" He shouted at me. His words shouldn't have hurt me as much as they did. Anything I felt for him left that instant.
"Stop! Murphy didn't kill Wells. I did.." A girl's voice cried out. The girl Bellamy had comforted when I killed Atom.
Disappointment, sadness, maybe even pain flooded Bellamy's face. He must've really cared about her. I almost felt bad for him, but I didn't have time for that. I needed to save Murphy. I grabbed the small ax that was on Bellamy's belt loop. I cut the makeshift rope that was holding him up. He fell down and stood up shakily.
