Tonight the music stops

Silence fills the gaps

Where we forget to talk

Or maybe we just don't want to

Again this feeling

Overwhelms me

The tension is high

The air is stiff

I want to cry

I want to laugh

I want

Things to be the same

Could we

Ever make that happen

We used to laugh

We used to cry

Together

Were unstoppable

But now

We sit in silence

Waiting

For the other

To say a word
