All we wanted
Love
Acceptance
A place to belong
Never given to us
We screamed
From the sidelines
With tear-stained faces
Wanting to join you
But I guess
You'll be joining us now
The outcasts
The ones that never truly fit in
Now gone for good
A distant nostalgic memory
Played out time and time again
Forever repeated
Maybe we thought
Anyplace would be better
Than this life of agony
And torment
That slowly and surly
Ate away at our will
Our will to live
Our will to carry on and no more
Could we live this way
And so we died
The cruelest way possible
Murdered
By suicide
