Never Alone

Alone was I,

Alone I've been.

I wondered if,

It'd always be this way.

I used to think,

I could make it on my own,

How wrong was I.

Days went by,

No one came.

I wished and wished,

But It never came.

I felt

Alone.

I used to think,

Pain could be my only friend,

Death my only playmate.

I lived in a dark world,

Until you came along,

Things slowly began to change.

Now I'll never have to be,

Alone.
