Lia's POV
"Hey what's up?" I said as I answered Brad's call. God, how bad I missed this boy.
"Well Im pretty good. The band were real busy after the release of the music video but now we've got a break again. How are you?" I listened to his voice and I somehow melt inside.
"I'm great. Been training with my dance crew lately it's exhausting and fun at the same time"
"Hey uhm Lia..." He murmured.
"Yes Brad?"
"I miss you." With that I swear I felt my cheeks turning red as tomato.
"I miss you too." I managed to say.
"I really wish you were here."
"It's okay Brad. You'll come visit again, right?"
"We...uhm" his voice started to sound sad.
"Brad?"
"The band started to get more invites to interviews and guestings and photoshoots and you know..I mean I can still..."
"That's great, Brad!" I cut him off before he finishes and says he's going to be too busy to go back here and visit. I mean, Im happy for him and the band. I just thought he said they'll be back soon to continue their vacation here. The thought of not seeing him anytime soon pains me a little because I really miss him.
"Thanks. But..."
"It's okay, Brad. I understand."
"Im really sorry, Lia."
"Dont be, you silly. You guys deserve this recognition after your hard work" i tried to be positive.
"But hey, I meant it that I miss you. I really fucking do."
I just smiled to myself. "I do, too."
"Hey, I gotta go pick up my mum and sister. I'll ring you again soon, okay?"
"Okay. You take care with your driving."
"I will. Take care too!" Then I hung up. If I could just be with him any moment right, it'd be better. Here comes my emotions.
Brad's POV
After Lia hung up on me I just smiled to myself. If only she knew how excited I am to go back to Singapore soon. Okay, I didn't lie about the interviews and stuff because we were going to go to a few and also the guestings. I told the band and Charla we could surprise Lia in the next week or two so we planned to not mention when we'll be back. I just hope we could finish work in the next two weeks or less so I could see Lia again. I also know Charla misses her so much since they're bestfriends and practically inseprable before we got in the picture. So I decided to call her.
".....yeah, yeah. Ohmygod she's going to go nuts when she sees us!" She exclaimed in the middle of our conversation.
"I can't wait!" I laughed.
"Anyway, Con and I are going to be back in two days so I'll see you soon!"
I also rang Joe our manager to ask how things are going for our schedule and I found out it was a bit tight since magazines and tv shows wanted to feature us. It just feels good that we've come this far.
I then got the car keys and went off to pick up my mum and my sister.
Tristan's POV
Break was going pretty good to me after all the tv apprearances and shoots after the relase of the music video. I picked up Olivia from her uni. I gave her the flowers I brought before and kissed her temple by the time she got inside the car.
We went to Starbucks for a quick coffee date. I remember how we met:
About two years ago after band practice, the guys went home and I decided to go buy coffee. I saw this beautiful girl working at Starbucks for a summer job. Since then I bought coffee regularly. I was never a fan of caffeine but hey, it kept me up for studying and more practice and the best part is that I get to see her. It took me a few weeks before I asked for the girl's number and asked her to go out with me.
Who knew she'd be my girlfriend by now?
"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked, after taking a sip from her frappe. I realized I was staring at her with a smile on my face.
"Nothing. I just remembered how we met. Remember? You used to work here." I smiled
"Aww you're so cute babe."
"I just love you so." I said as I moved closer to her and kissed her cheek.
"I love you too."
James' POV
"I know, it's just... You've been there why can't you stay here so we get to be together. I can see you every after school or during weekends. Please?"
Hayley kept insisting me to not come with Charla and the band back to Singapore and spend the rest of the break with her. She has a point and I really wanna be with her. But I kept thinking the band could write songs when they can during their stay there and maybe go to other places and travel and do appearances and I'm not there with them? I mean, it's our job but my girlfriend has a point. Uh, I'm torn.
"I'll think about it, baby. But this is also our work okay?"
"James.."
"Hayley, I said I'll think about it. Now go finish that school work. I'll make dinner." I went up to her and gave her a hug before heading downstairs.
Her mum Marie right then got home. Wow, that's a first. I've been a regular visitor in Hayley's home since it's only her and her mom, her dad died when she was 8. She's not that close to her mom, though. Marie goes home really late every night so it's either Im here with her, cooking dinner for both of us or she's at my house with me and my family. I take her out to dinner sometimes too.
"I was just about to make dinner." I smiled.
"Okay. Thank you James that's very nice of you." She gave me a smile back.
"Hayley's upstairs doing some school stuff."
"Okay." Marie smiled again before heading upstairs.
*ring*
I got my phone from my pocket to see Brad calling me. Great. Do I tell him now?
