Ch 17: Teaser

Lia's POV

I was woken up by Charla kissing my forehead. But I didnt open up my eyes. By the time I heard the front door close, I got up and saw the note she wrote addressed to me. I knew she was gonna be away with Connor for a while. The reason I didnt get up is that I hate goodbyes. Even if it's for a while, im going to miss my bestfriend so much. But it's less of a burden knowing for a fact that she's gonna have fun there.

Also, it's why I didnt want to be there at the airport with them, I'm not going to be there with Brad. I hope he doesnt forget about me. He's meant so much to me already.

Connor's POV

We got a cab to the airport. My phone kept on buzzing because of texts from the boys asking where I was.

When we arrived, its was only me who was missing, of course Charla as well. The boys and Dean were sat waiting. Dean was the only one left with us because he wanted to shoot a few of the stuff we did during this vacation. Also, we didnt tell the fans where we were, so its up to them to find out. It was already time that we check in.

It was going to be almost a day long flight. During the flight, Dean told us that the plan is that when we arrive at the hotel in London, he will put up a teaser video on Youtube. Then the next day will be the release of the official video, and an interview on a tv channel. Then, a photoshoot and another interview with a teen magazine on the next day, and finally a chance to get back to our home, then whtever we plan to do for the rest of the vacation. Wow, a busy vacation it is.

"Connoooor!!!" Charla practically shouted at my ear. I realized I was staring blankly at the clouds and the city below. "You tagged me along but youre ignoring me" she pouted. Such a cutie.

"Awww. Im sorry love I was just thinking.."

"What is my Concon thinking about?" I gotta be honest, she gets so childish sometimes but it's adorable.

"Hmm, after all the work and stuff, can you come with me in Hatton? I want you to meet my family."

"What? I would love to! But, im nervous. What if they wouldn't like me?"

"I'm sure they would." and then I kissed her nose. We practically slept the whole flight. It's one of the similarities I have with Charla. We both love sleeping.

We woke up to the continious camera sounds. I opened up my eyes to see the boys and Dean taking pictures of me and Charla resting her head on my shoulder.

Charla's POV

We arrived at airport. Oh how I missed London, the place where I grew up for half of my life, I missed the weather, the surroundings, everything. We got off the plane and in the airport, we were mobbed by some fans, oops I meant, the boys were mobbed by a lot of fans. Wow they're this famous. I hear girls saying stuff about me like 'Who is she?' 'Why is she with The Vamps?' .

We went straight to the hotel and had our room assignment. Dean with James, Tris and Brad, Connor and me.But as planned, Dean will post a teaser of the music video.

"Im afraid of how the fans will react." I told Connor.

"Why?"

"Because I dated and kissed Connor Ball in the video? What if they hate me?"

"Dont mind them. We had fun, remember? It's all that matters." Connor pulled me into a hug. We just sat there on the bed until Dean texted us saying the teaser is up. Im not gonna lie, Im bloody nervous. If I'm this nervous now, then what more if the official video is up.

Connor got his laptop from his bag and we opened the link Dean tweeted about. In a matter of few minutes, it already had thousands of views. Here it goes, a range of comments about me. I can see a few saying 'Omg she got to be with Connor' 'Shes so lucky' 'Who the hell is she' 'They could have someone better' 'I wish I was her' 'Shouldve been me' 'Shes pretty'. It didnt show the kiss scene yet. Some comments were nice that they made me feel better but then these negative ones got into me. Connor put his arms around me and kissed me. Just like that, things got better. What does he have that makes everything okay? Damn, this boy.

I decided that I ignore the hate and just be positive. Connor and I both got our phones and tweeted about the link. I also saw a tweet from Lia:

Oh God I missed her instantly. I retweeted it and replied. The boys also tweeted but I only retweeted the tweet from the band account.

I also checked my Instagram and saw a notification from Dean:

Then there was this photo of me and Connor from the plane when we were sleeping.

I started gaining followers from both Instagram and Twitter and receiving tweets and what not. I favorited a few nice ones and went off. I decided to take a rest and lied down on the bed with Connor still on his phone. Minutes later, I felt Connor lying down beside me and put his arms around me.

Then we were both off to dreamland once again.
