I sat the edge of my bed thinking what happened between me and aliza while talking to Chris.
"she didn't pull away, does she still love me? she said she missed me too."
"the facts are in front of the both of you and you won't accept fate."
Fate was something not worth losing us, not this time.
"I know chris, but I wanna be really careful this time. we broke up so long ago."
chris tilts his head.
"matt you always tell me that is if something is meant to be it'll happen. Y'all found you guys way back to each other so make it right between you two and don't focus on the past."
Chris told me my own advice should apply to every situation that I was in with her.
"I know Chris but this is different, everything about this is different."
I sighed looking around, I hope she was thinking about me like this too or it would be no use to any of this.

Aliza is practicing her new single and she sounds absolutely angelic. It was days after it happened but we moved on from it and focused on business.

he sits on the chair.

"matt you got vocals too though, why you don't sing it" she smiles at me giggling.

"well make that 1 minute ago cause you need to start back."
"I'll tell you what. Why don't we make a song together?" I asked her with a grin on my face.

I was itching to feel her lips again but I stopped myself.
"matt..just kiss me" and that feeling I missed came back to me one again, as we pulled away our eyes locked.
"aliza let me just love you please." Intertwining my fingers with hers as my hands were on her waist, I didn't wanna let go of her because I didn't want her to leave so soon.
"yes but let's promise something" I was listening to anything she said, I just wanted to feel that familiar love again.

Im sitting across from Aliza, I caught myself staring at her in science class. she was really pretty in the sunlight and her eyes shined bright when she smiled.
"so about that project, you coming over later?"
"yeah for sure" I said nervously.
My feelings confused me. Did I like her? Was I falling for Aliza Spun?

I walk into her house and saw her standing next to the couch with her hair down, her glasses and her oversized hoodie. God I could lose it.
"hey" I was flustered just to look at her, she caught my attention and that's when I knew I had a crush on her.

I broke the silence while we were working on the project.
"did you enjoy school?"
"barely. it was kind of boring, I met this boy though"
confusion raced through my mind. a boy? she liked someone else? she was smiling when she said it, what was she so happy about?
"a boy?"
"mhmm he asked for my number" I felt a type of way with her saying that, it made me upset. I didn't know how to feel.
"oh that's cool" I hid my jealousy well. It would be weird if she knew I saw something in her on a random day, I should have seen it before.
She talked about him and that was confirmation... I didn't have a chance with Aliza Spun at all．

me and kiyomi are sitting on the couch while drinking wine.
"so how are you and Chris going?" I sat up turning to face her
"pretty good. it's just one thing that's bothering me."
"what is it?" I look at her with confusion.
"well I asked to see his phone and he didn't give it to me, he just changed the subject immediately"
"ask him I don't know, all I know is he better not be cheating on my sister" i laugh while drinking my wine.
"he know not to play like that, he'll lose everything in a drop of an hat."
"well i would say talk to him about it, that can be concerning."

Chris and I enter the house after playing a game of ball in the backyard. While walking we hear a conversation between Kiyomi and Aliza.
"well i asked to see his phone and he didn't give it to me, he just changed the subject immediately"
I looked at Chris confused and he pulled me to the side
"are you-"
He pulls up his phone showing a picture of a ring.
"I wanna upgrade her ring but she doesn't know"
"oh my lord tell her that, she thinks your doing something behind her back"
he nods and we walking into the living room
"hey girls"
"oh hey Chris, we are gonna watch Pride & Prejudice soon you guys wanna watch it?"
"sure" he said looking at me shrugging his shoulder.
