"Ready Aliza?" Matt's voice echoed throughout the empty dressing room, his fingertips playing a nervous tune on the keyboard. Aliza took a deep breath, her eyes locked on the mirror "as ready as ready can be" she smiled tryna gain her confidence. The first notes filled through the air, a gentle melody that played around them. They practiced the song thousands of times, but tonight felt different. The anticipation was a thick crescendo that built in their hearts.
Stepping on the stage the spotlight grew brighter, the sound of the audience buzzing through the atmosphere. The whispers of excitement grew to a low mummer as Matt strucked the cords of the songs while Aliza sat besides him. This was it. The moment they have been working towards for as long as they can remember.
