Day 5 at the Mortal Kombat 9 Universe

I woke up with Ermac's arms still around me. I smiled. I shifted and Ermac held me tighter.

"Is our doll awake?" Ermac asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"We missed you." Ermac said.
"I missed you, too." I said.

Ermac began to rub my arm.

"For a construct of ten thousand warriors, I never knew you could be the affectionate type." I said.
"Only for you, doll." Ermac said.

I smiled and hummed. There was knocking on my door.

"Who is it?" I asked.
"It's Quan Chi. Do you know where Ermac is?" He asked.
"In here with me." I said.

It was silent before Quan Chi opened the door and saw us spooning.

"Uh, how long have you two been like this?" Quan Chi asked. "You two have been gone all night. You missed so much." Quan Chi said.

I sat up and Ermac placed his head on my thigh.

"Like what?" I asked.
"Well...... You were right. Shang Tsung failed Shao Kahn and they rewrote the rules of Mortal Kombat." Quan Chi said.
"I fuckin' told you." I said.
"Liu Kang is champion. He defeated Shang Tsung and Goro and that made Shao Kahn very upset." Quan Chi said.
"Oh, right! That's why Shao Kahn gets so pissed off. I completely forgot that that was the reason." I said.
"Well, anyway, the new tournament is gonna begin soon. It's a single tournament to replace the current system of ten and it's gonna be held here in Outworld." Quan Chi said.

I looked at him.

"What's the catch?" I asked.
"If Earthrealm does not win, Outworld will merge with it. But if Earthrealm wins, Shao Kahn will abandon his claim to it forever." Quan Chi said.
"Damn." I said.
"Shao Kahn has requested that you and Ermac participate." Quan Chi said.
"Speaking of Shao Kahn, is he still going through that existential crisis?" I asked.
"He's really depressed and is going through a severe appetite loss and insomnia." Quan Chi said.
"Yep, he is. I better give him that book." I said as I stood up, making Ermac groan.

I grabbed one of the books off of my shelf, the book that I wrote and published three years ago.

"What's that?" Quan Chi asked.
"The book I wrote. It might help Shao Kahn snap out of his crisis." I said.

I walked out of the room and down the hall. I went to Shao Kahn's personal quarters and I knocked on the door.

"What?" He snapped.
"It's Zeix." I said.
"Oh. Come in, child." Shao Kahn said.

I walked into his room. Shao Kahn was laying on his personal couch.

"What are you here for?" Shao Kahn asked.
"Here. You can have this. I think it'll help you." I said.

Shao Kahn sat up and he took my book.

"Oh! A book!" He said as he looked at this. "You wrote this?" He asked.
"Yeah. It took me four years to finish that book and three weeks to find a publisher." I said.
"What is it about?" Shao Kahn asked.
"It's a story I came up with. Can I sit?" I asked.
"Yes, yes." Shao Kahn said.

I sat down on the floor.

"So, I have a wacky imagination. I like to think of my imagination as a city and the main topic is a house. And in all the separate rooms of that house are a different version of that topic. I have topics such as The Black Twins which are me and Eddie, Avatar, House of Wax, Slipknot, Team Fortress 2, just topics and fandoms that I love. And in each topic has a bunch of different stories. For example, my Slipknot topic. Some stories I have for that one are Corey Taylor's Daughter, Griffin Taylor's Girlfriend, Romantic Relationship with Sid Wilson with a Yandere Corey Taylor, A Polyamorous Relationship with The Whole Band, stuff like that. For this book that I wrote, the main topic is The Black Twins and the story for it is me and Eddie turning eighteen and being sent up to Earth from Hell by our father to find all of the bad people and criminals and kill them so that the people they hurt can have justice and the book is heavily based around my views and opinions of the Satanism and Christianity religions. Now, I'm not giving it to you to preach religion. I'm giving it to you because it has some heavy and deep topics in there like narcissistic abuse, physically abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, mental health abuse, verbal abuse, manipulation, gaslighting, rape, sexual assault, abortion, politics, the public school systems, mental illness, types of crisises, mania, suicide and self harm and a lit more. When that book got published, people all around the world thanked me for writing this book because this book points out behaviors and symptoms and signs and the truth of those deep and personal topics. It might help you with your existential crisis." I explained.

Shao Kahn flipped the pages of my book and he looked at the cover. He nodded.

"Okay. I'll take a look at it." Shao Kahn said. "Thank you." Shao Kahn added.
"You're welcome." I said.

I stood up and I left Shao Kahn's room and went back to mine where Ermac was reading my gothic horror stories book.

"This is a good book." Ermac said. "These stories are amazing." He added.

I smiled.

"I'm glad you like it." I said.

I sat down next to him and he slouched and I cuddled into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me.

"You're our only cuddle buddy that we will have in our whole life." Ermac said.

I smiled.

"And you're my only cuddle buddy that I will have my whole stay here." I said.

I wrapped an arm around him and we chilled in comfortable silence.
