"Huff... huff... huff... cough!"

"Were almost at the park, Mark. Keep going.." Saitama encouraged.

Our hero is casually jogging beside Mark Grayson. The boy was sweaty and slowing down as they both reach the park. It was early morning and few people are seen around this time.

A perfect time to train the boy and not get mobbed by civilians who lack self preservation instinct.

"Huff... huff... Why?!" the boy said in pain.

His lungs were pumping at maximum effort. His arms ache from the 20 push ups he did. His legs and abdomen twist in agony for every motion he does. It was hell.

Next to him was Saitama in a blue track suit and was holding a banana. His bored face focused infront of him and jogging ahead of the boy.

He occasionally glances back and they both make eye contact briefly before the bald man gives a thumbs up of encouragement.

"God dang it! Why did I have to say that back then!!" he screamed in his head.

With the enormous pressure he put his body in adding to the previous days he did this, it was torture.

"Why didn't you stop me Dad?!" he shouted in his mind.

---Flashback---

"Are you sure you want to do this kid?" asked the bald man.

"Yeah! I'm pumped to start training..." he replied.

He watches the boy do stretches in preparation to begin his first day of training. He was in a grey shirt and short. Wearing sneakers and a head band.

Nolan floats down near the two, bearing his costume of white and red. He placed his feet on the ground and joined in watching Mark preparing himself.

"Son, I know your eager but are you certain you can commit to this... training?" the father asked his son. A little skeptical of the Earth method.

"I'm positive Dad and besides, if I can't do Saitama's training then I'm not worthy to train like you did. The viltrumite way."

The boy then did breathing exercises while Saitama was watching a butterfly flutter next to a flower bed.

"Also, wouldn't it be beneficial for me to build up my foundation early? So we don't have to get stuck with the basics." The boy added to convince his father.

Nolan had his eye brows raised from his son's words. Mark's positive insight gave a smile to the veteran.

Mark's statement is true in most aspects. One must over come a challanges even if they are small. It wouldnt be necessary for Mark to train this early, but didn't sound like a bad idea.

All viltrumite children only start training when their powers emerge. Mark is already 12, way pass the expected emergence of his powers.

He already accepted the fact that his son might never get his powers and live up to the legacy of the empire. Might as well be at top shape.

"Good point, son..." the father agreed.

He began to hover again in the air and slowly rising higher. Saitama was still occupied with butterfly watching.

"I have to go to the other side of the world. China is starting a ruckus again. Train hard, son. One day, we'll fight againts evil together."

"Don't worry Dad! I'll never give up."
