Our hero was now sitting on a couch together with Mark Grayson, his student, as the matriarch discussed with them about the recent accident.

Saitama was reprimanded for allowing Mark to run on his own and lost him. It was an irresponsible thing to do and he was the adult. The last part stung deep within him.

Mark was scolded for not listening and being reckless with his actions. She praised him for his heroics, but she lectured him about doing it under assumptions that he was tougher. That maybe true now, but alot of people recieved horrible fates by assuming things.

He may not be so lucky next time.

Creak...

Thump thump

"Honey! Mark! Im... home?" Nolan called and saw all three on them in the living room.

Saitama and Mark are sitting on the couch, hands on their lap, and looking down. Debbie stood infront of them with her hand on her wide hips.

She looked at them with a frown before she noticed him.

"Darling? Your back!" she says and walked over to the big man and hugged him.

"Uhmm... what's going on? if you don't mind me asking?" he said in a low voice.

"Ugh... this?" she looked back.

The two smiled sheepishly.

"Yow..." greeted Saitama

"Hey Dad..." said Mark, smiling nervously.

"These two got involve in a traffic accident. The one about the run away truck. Saitama left Mark on his own and Mark was almost hit by the truck." she explained as she looked up at her husband.

"Truck? Wait... is it the one from Up town that I just carried off the road?"

"Exactly that..." she confirms.

"What happened exactly? Were they the cause of it?" he asked, his tone a little serious.

"Its not that, dear. They actually helped. Saitama stopped the truck and Mark saved a girl from getting hit. It was fortunate his power's activated. But Mark being reckless and Saitama being irresponsible is no excuse."

"Mark has powers?!" Nolan eyes widen in shock.

"Uhmm. Ahem! I mean... yes, your right, honey. Those two shouldn't have acted that way. Who knows what could have happened." Nolan said, recoiling back from shock.

"But Debbie..." the husband's voice become soft and calm.

He caressed her face and she inadvertently lean into it.

"Y-yes?" she replied, feeling tingles within her.

"What you said is true, no doubt. But Saitama probably tried to warn Mark. He isn't a strict kind of person. As for Mark, I agree. That was a reckless act, but it did save a life. We should be proud our son. Your son has a heart as kind, loving, and selfless as yours..." he spoke sweetly.

"N-Nolan... I... y-your right. I was so worried and angry. I didn't know what I would do with myself if Mark was hurt." her expression softened and she melted on her lover's chest.

"I'm sorry Mark... Saitama..." she looked back over her shoulder.

"It's ok Debbie, I did lost him so I don't blame you" the bald man answered, scratching the back of his head and slightly bowing.
