Several weeks had passed since the tumultuous events shook Mardin to its core. The town was slowly returning to its familiar rhythm, the scars of the Allosaurus's rampage healing amidst the town.
Sam stood outside his childhood home, his truck loaded with belongings that marked the beginning of a new journey. He embraced his parents tightly, words unnecessary between them.
Driving through town, Sam's gaze lingered on Martini's Shop, where Martini and Sabrina side by side. Nearby, the burnt remnants of the new gas station stood as a sign of the recent turmoil.
Pulling into Lee's Auto Shop, Sam found his uncle Lee and the retired Sheriff engrossed in the repair of a car. Inside the shop's office, Dave, Arren, and Emily lounged comfortably, the TV providing entertainment.
Sam shared a heartfelt farewell with Uncle Lee, expressing gratitude for the guidance and unwavering support that had shaped him into the person he had become. Lee's eyes gleamed as he wished Sam well on the next chapter of his life.
Turning to Emily, Sam's heart swelled with love. They shared a tender moment, their bond reaffirmed with a gentle kiss. "Get a room you two," Dave said, a small grin on his face. With Dave joining them, they embarked on the open road, leaving behind the familiar streets of Mardin for the bustling promise of college life in San Paso. The truck rolled forward, carrying them towards new adventures and endless possibilities.
As they drove away, Sam couldn't help but glance back one last time. Lee, Arren, and the retired Sheriff stood by the roadside, their figures bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun as they waved goodbye, watching the young group disappear into the horizon.
Yet, as the town of Mardin faded from view, the truck passed by an old weathered sign that had seen better days. Faded words proclaimed "Coming Soon" with a torn logo depicting a dinosaur and the words underneath "Jurassic Park."
The End.
