Hello, Starlings! Another chapter is out, and we are officially entering Season 3! I will use quotes from the episodes! I will not be going through every episode, as I want to try to focus on Olivia and Lloyd and their relationship. Also, I don't want Olivia and Anne to become a part of the plot of Season 3, so you're just going to have to read to see how I incorporate them into the story. Before we begin the story, I have a new derby term to introduce to you. Calling off the jam is when the lead jammer taps their hands on their hips to call off the jam. With all of my announcements out of the way, let's jump into the chapter!

Olivia watched as the hydraulics system lifted the ramp to an angle. She smiled, loving the new modifications to the race track. She noticed Megan Ellis and Tara Sands blocking the paths around the ramp. Olivia immediately increased her speed, trying to gain enough speed to jump the ramp. Her heart was racing, and she could feel the beads of sweat dripping down her forehead. The incline began to grow, and soon, she jumped off the ramp and landed on the track.

"That's enough! Lead Jammer, call off the jam!" The coach, Tegan Harris, called. Olivia tapped her hands to her hips, signaling a call off. The others stopped their skating and proceeded to make their way to the center of the rink. Olivia removed her helmet, allowing her blonde hair to dry. "Girls, that was a great practice. Thanks to Mr. Borg, our track has some new challenges, and you girls are handling them with stride. Now, I want you all to go home and take an ice bath tonight because I'm sure your muscles are tired. Put your hands in the middle. Team on three! One! Two! Three!"

"Team!" the girls cheered. Olivia removed her skates and put them into her duffel bag. Then, she pulled out her phone and checked it for messages.

"He's not going to call the minute you check your phone, you know," Anne said, approaching Olivia as she put on her seafoam green slides. Olivia sighed.

"I know. I just haven't heard from him in weeks. I know he's the golden ninja and all, but Lloyd usually calls at least once to talk." Olivia looked at her phone and frowned. The symbol appeared for no messages. She sighed again and stuck the phone in her duffel bag. Anne couldn't help but let out a chuckle.

"Come on. Let's head home." The two girls waved goodbye to their teammates and began the trek home. Olivia had the path memorized. They had to walk by Borg Industries to make it to Holt Towers, the apartment buildings owned by Olivia's father. William Holt owned a chain of apartment buildings that were very popular all over Ninjago. "So, Olivia. Are we gonna talk about how close you and Lloyd are getting?" Anne asked as they walked. Olivia looked at her friend.

"What's there to talk about? He's becoming a really good friend!" Olivia answered, giving Anne a questioning look. Anne returned the look with a blank stare.

"Yeah, but you two are beginning to get really close for friends. What if he wants to be something more than friends?" she questioned. Olivia paused. She hadn't thought about being anything more than friends with Lloyd. But what if that was something Lloyd wanted?

'No, Lloyd only wants to be friends.' Olivia snapped out of her thoughts and caught up with Anne. "Anne, I think that he only wants to be friends. We're getting close because that's normal for friends," she responded. Anne rolled her eyes.

"Whatever. Let's get home." As Anne kept walking, a thought ran through Olivia's head.

"Well, what about you and Cole? What if he wants to be more than friends?" Olivia called. Anne froze. Olivia smirked, knowing she had hit a nerve. Anne had always been cautious when it came to relationships. She was closed off from the Ninja at first, but slowly, she began to open up to the Black Ninja, and Olivia enjoyed watching the relationship grow between the two.
