I want a dog. I NEED a dog. They know your feelings, they hug you and they lick you when you're sad, and they play with you when you're both happy. You can't fool them by masking. They know you're sad even when you're laughing. I don't know why exactly, but I know I love It.My parents asked me again;
-So, you already know what you want?
-Uhmm, yeah! I mean... No, I don't know yet. - I answered.
I know I want a dog, but I have to choose another thing and I don't know what to say.
I would like something I could use not only for me, but I also want them to know I have ADHD, or so I think, because they don't even care about that.
I'll be thinking about it.
I'm on a call with Elodie.
She seems sad, I hear her silent-crying, but she thinks I don't. I asked her if she's okay, she said "Yeah, why?" And I told her I could hear her cry.
I started to hear her sobbing as her crying intensified right before she hung up the call on me.I wanted to cry, I had an overwhelming urge to cry; I couldn't bear to see Elodie sad. Then I remembered the promise I made about crying, and I started to cry.
It felt right for the first time. I REALLY needed that.
I called Max, sobbing and knowing what to do.
-Hey! Uhmm... - I started speaking. - My parents gave me two wishes because I saved Alicia's life.
-Oh great!- wait, are you okay? You sobbing?
-Ohm, yeah? I... Am? - I answered hearthbroken and trying to hold my tears back again.
-Hey, don't do that.
I instantly started crying again. My face was red and wet while Max continued speaking.
-Are you okay?
-I don't know.
-Well, what are you... Going to ask for?
-I wasn't sure, but I am now.
When the call ended, my father entered the room and asked me again, but this time, I knew what to answer.
-I really really want a support dog.
-Oh, uhmm, okay, well, you saved someone's life, we could get a dog for you.
-Could It be a Rottweiler?
-Okay! What else?
-I need your help for this one.
I told both my parents what to do so they could help me, and so they did.
They looked kinda confused at first, but I told them that my greatest wish has always been for the people I love the most to be happy. I asked them to understand and help, and to accept what I was asking since they were the ones who came up with the idea of the wishes.
I need to finish this, see you tomorrow.
At least I made that promise for something. It worked. I don't cry all the time now, not like before.
Hi, I came back. You can't know it, but It's already tomorrow. Well, I mean, it's now the next day.
Elodie called me today.
-Hey Ell, I have some big news, my- my mom said she loves me no matter how I am. She almost lost me but she's glad she didn't. SHE ACCEPTS ME, ELLORA, SHE DOESN'T CARE I'M GAY!
-I know.
-Also, Max told me your parents gave you two wishes because you saved my mother. What did you ask for?
In this moment, a happy tear started sliding down my right eye, and I said:
-Did she say two? No, It's only one. I asked for a dog.
-I see, you're finally getting a dog!
-Yeah, - I continued crying. - I am.
-SWEETIE, COME HAVE LUNCH! - Said Elodie's dad.
-I- I gotta go, bye!
-Bye!
I'm glad about myself.
