July 5th, 1924

At 6:00, Gustav arrived at the restaurant. He waited for Florence to arrive before heading in.

Moments later, Florence climbed out of a car, wearing a long red dress with a white fur coat and red heels with red lipstick. Her blonde hair was pulled back in a curly bun. She looked at Gustav.

He wore a black tuxedo without a tie. His brown hair was slicked back and he wore suit flats for his shoes.

"Shall we?" Florence said.

"We shall."

Florence took his arm and they entered the restaurant.

After ordering their food, they listened to the music that the orchestra was playing and looked at their surroundings. Painting were everywhere, even all up on the ceiling.

For a moment, they continued looking.

"Aren't these magnificent?" Florence asked.

"Yes, indeed. I haven't actually seen this place inside yet."

"Ah, you haven't?"

"Well, I haven't really gotten the chance to sit down and have dinner in public."

"Well, we're here now." Florence took his hand.

He smiled at her in return.

They kept talking about the Olympics, the business, and things they liked about the restaurant. Pretty soon, the food was presented to them.

"Ah, how lovely!" Florence said as their food was set down.

They ate their food and soon went back to talking for a bit.

One everything was finished, they payed their check and headed out.
They headed towards a nearby park and sat down on a bench. They simply kept on talking as they watched the peace of the park. Their feelings for each other kept growing in every moment.

Pretty soon, it had started raining, and Florence quickly took out her umbrella. She covered Gustav and herself as they rain poured.

"Should we head home?" She asked Gustav.

"Yes, I believe so." Gustav agreed.

They got into Gustav's car and drove all the way to their apartment.

They quickly headed inside and left their shoes and Florence's umbrella outside.

Before they could get ready for the night, Gustav wanted to thank Florence for a great night. He simply kissed her on the lips.

Initially shocked, she eventually kissed him back.

"Thanks for tonight." Gustav said.

"No, thank you. For changing my life."

"For changing our lives."

Not so long after they finished getting ready for bed, Gustav decided that Florence could permanently stay at his apartment, to which Florence ultimately agreed to.

They were happy about everything that happened tonight before heading to dreamland to repeat it in their heads over and over again.

Nothing like this had ever happened to either of them before, yet it didn't matter now, because much more was to come, especially after the end of the Paris Olympics of 1924.
