They had done it. They had officially surpassed the thousand dollar mark. Things had been slowing down since the Olympics ended, but life in Paris sure didn't.

Things were back to where they were before the Olympics, except a few things. The most important one, though, was that Gustav and Florence were officially dating and Gustav was set to return to Switzerland in early 1925. As long as his business kept running smoothly, that's where he'd be headed next.

Even if Florence never met Gustav, her plans was always to never return to the United States. Paris felt more quiet for her, but after the Olympics, it felt much more like that. But, with Gustav, she felt like she could have more peace with him by moving to Switzerland with him.

The next morning, they set off on a day of fun just for the two of them. They went to a duck pond, a fountain, a Cafe, a restaurant, and the Eiffel Tower, a great landmark for all to enjoy.
They lived this happy life in Paris together for the rest of the year.

January 1925

Some time after 1925 rang out, they went back to Gustav's Coats and Shoes, where Gustav recieved a letter, confirming he'd be returning to Switzerland, and Louis would now be in charge of the little shop turned economic success.

Gustav was grateful his wish of going home came true. He had started his business during the war over ten years before to provide people with clothing. He sewed and made everything on his own and eventually had to go to Paris to help local Parisians.

His store in Paris opened in 1917 and started slowing down once the war ended a year later, but piped back up between 1920 and 1922. Now, it was finally time for him to return home.

Florence also felt grateful as she would get to live a quiet and peaceful life, just as she wished. Now, she had someone to share it with.

During this whole experience, they found something unexpected, each other. And yet, it was the greatest gift they could ever ask for.
