Chapter 15

3rd person POV

Recently, James has been extremely busy with his mafia workload and hasn't had time to spend with his daughter who always is asleep by the time he comes back from work.

James and the whole family all moved into their new family home, and on the day of their move James personally tortured and killed his wife's ex brother in law. Amalia has been really quiet and isolated from her family and Emery could sense the feeling of sadness, tension and fear. So, at night Amalia as usual put Emery to bed but Emery pretended to be asleep and waited for her papa to come back which was another 2 hours. Normally, Amalia would sleep with Emery but recently she goes to the kitchen and has a drink. Emery heard James come in and could hear his heavy boots on the bedroom floor landing coming closer. Emery sat up on the bed and James entered the bedroom and was shook to see Emery awake and sat up in bed. Emery quietly said, "Papa! Your home I haven't seen you all week. I understand you're busy with work but papa mama is not doing well and she's very upset and stressed out and I try to always drink milk whenever she tells me to. But I can't because mama is always sad and I'm sad too and nonno and nonna are gone back to their meetings in London so I'm all alone."
James replied with guilt, " Baby what are you doing up?! Hmm. What do you know about stress , mi principessa. Don't worry, from tomorrow mama will be fine because papa is done with work and  I am SO SO SO sorry baby please forgive me. I was really busy with work baby, please forgive me and don't worry about mama I'm going to fix it. Now, come on let's go to bed let me change and we can cuddle and go bed, alright."
Emery replied with tears in her eyes, "Okay, papa I trust you and don't worry I forgive you. I hope mama is okay, she doesn't feel cuddly like she usually feels and I don't like seeing mama upset papa"
Amalia heard Emery and James speaking as she was about to enter the room and by the end of the conversation she had tears and was quietly sobbing and opened the door and Emery quietly gasped. As Emery gasped, Amalia went to cuddle her and James went and said "Mi amore, I am so so sorry please baby forgive me- I will do anything baby please forgive me for not being there for you or my principessa. I am free off work since today, so you and Ems both have me for the rest of the 2 weeks."
Amalia cradled her daughter, while James cuddle them from the back and rocked them till Emery fell asleep with dried tears on her cheeks. Afterwards, Amalia just quietly sobbed her heart from all the stress and pain in her heart as James cuddled her and kissed her repeatedly.

The following morning, Amalia woke up to James adjusting Emery and latching Emery on Amalia's nipple properly. Emery had a strong latch on her mamas nipple and was drinking milk as she slept like a baby, and James softly smiled and said "Good morning , mi amore- sorry she was becoming restless in her sleep looking for your boobs so I just helped her and latched her on your boob to drink milk. Slowly, come downstairs with Ems when she's up and ready I got a surprise for you both. Amalia, softly smiled at her husband and kissed him on the lips as she nodded her head, and lightly put her fingers through her daughter's hair as she was sucking on her mamas boob and drinking milk. Amalia was flooded with guilt and slowly began planning on making it up to her daughter who was being neglected by her emotionally. Eventually, Emery and Amalia both went downstairs and were surprised with the setup in the kitchen which had ballon written saying "Sorry! Please forgive me" Amalia jumped on James with her feet wrapped around James' waist and yelled "Of course baby, thank you so much!"
Emery, looked at her parents and had a big grin and said "wow papa, its beautiful and of course I forgive you papa and I love you and mama"
Amalia then got down and crouched down to Emery's eye level and gave her something from her pocket on her gown which was a black jewellery box. Emery looked up at her mama curiously, and gasped as she saw her mama take out the Emerald green diamond necklace and put it on her silently, which was shortly followed with Amalia saying, "Baby, mama is so so sorry for neglecting you and I know no matter what I am dealing with I should always look after you baby and the guilt I'm feeling is breaking my heart. Please take this as mama's apology and I hope you can forgive mama too."
Emery straight away tightly squeezed her mama as she hugged her and said, "Thank you soo much mama, this is beautiful and mama I know you were going through things and plus papa wasn't home or anyone so I forgive you"

Later in the evening, James and Amalia both had conversation about everything while Emery napped on her mamas boobs and chest with James cradling her and her mama from the back. James and Amalia both ensured to spoil Emery with all the attention and made sure that she was spending time with both her parents as they recognised how quiet and inactive Emery has become since her papa working everyday and the neglect from her parents. Both parents were flooded with immense guilt, and planned a surprise holiday with all of Emery's family- uncles, aunts and cousins and OF COURSE HER NONNO, NONNA AND HER BUBBA'S.
