3rd person POV

The gentle hum of the private jets engine and the soft, conforting rhythm of the sky lulled Emery into a few sleep. Nestled between her older brothers, Luciano and Adriano, she felt a sense of warmth and security. Despite the age difference- Emery being the youngest by nearly a decade- shared a special bond that only seemed to strengthen as they grew older.

Emery, a teenager with a vivid imagination and deep love for adventure, had always been close to her family. She adored her brothers, who, in turn, doted on their "little" sister despite her having grown into a confident and curious young woman. For as long as she could remember she had been the heart of the family, the one who brought everyone together with her infectious laughter and wide eyed wonder.

As the jet cruised high above the clouds, Emery stirred slightly in her sleep, comforted by the familiar feeling of her mama's arms around her earlier when she nursed before drifting off. It was their quiet ritual, one that had persisted even into her teenage years—a connection that transcended time and space, rooted in love and comfort.

In the same spacious bedroom of the jet, James and Amalia sat at a small table, speaking in hushed tones as they watched over their sleeping children. Amalia's gaze often drifted to her daughter, a soft smile playing on her lips. She could hardly believe how quickly time had passed; Emery was no longer the tiny baby she had once held, yet in moments like these, she could still see that little girl who clung to her for comfort.

James reached across the table to take Amalia's hand, squeezing it gently. "She's growing up so fast," he murmured, following her gaze. "But she'll always be our little girl."

Amalia nodded, her eyes misting slightly. "I know. But I love that she still finds comfort in us, in me... It's like, no matter how much she grows, she'll always be my baby."

They shared a tender look, both filled with pride and a touch of melancholy at the thought of their children growing older. Their sons, Luciano and Adriano, were now young men, poised to take on the world, and Emery was blossoming into a young woman with dreams and aspirations that stretched as far as the horizon.

As the jet began its descent, the gentle change in pressure caused the siblings to stir. Emery opened her eyes first, blinking sleepily as she took in her surroundings. Her brothers remained half-asleep beside her, their breathing deep and steady.

"Mama... Papa," Emery whispered, her voice still thick with sleep as she sat up and stretched. "Are we almost there?"

"Yes, sweetie," Amalia responded, moving to sit beside her daughter. She gently brushed a lock of hair from Emery's face. "We'll be landing in Zanzibar soon. I wanted to wake you before we arrived so you could have something to eat."

Emery's eyes lit up at the mention of Zanzibar, a place she had dreamed of visiting ever since she had read about it in one of her favorite travel books. It was a destination that had found its way onto her bucket list—a list she had once shyly shared with her family during dinner, never expecting that they would take her dreams so seriously.

Amalia noticed the excitement in her daughter's eyes and smiled. "I remember the day you told us about all the places you wanted to visit. We thought Zanzibar would be a good place to start."

Emery's heart swelled with love and gratitude. "I can't believe you remembered..."

"Of course we did," James said, joining them and wrapping his arms around both Amalia and Emery. "We always remember what's important to you, sweetheart."

As the jet made its final approach, Emery nestled into her mother's arms once more. Amalia, sensing her daughter's need for comfort before the excitement of landing, lifted her shirt slightly to allow Emery to nurse, a practice that had always brought her daughter peace. It was a bond that remained strong, a quiet moment between mother and daughter before stepping into the world once again.

Luciano and Adriano, now fully awake, watched with sleepy smiles as their sister nursed, both of them feeling a deep, protective love for her. The boys had always been close, but Emery had a way of softening them, making them more aware of the gentle side of life.

The plane touched down smoothly, and soon the family was whisked away to their villa in Zanzibar. The drive to the villa was filled with excitement as Emery pressed her face against the car window, taking in the vibrant sights of the island—the lush greenery, the turquoise waters, and the colorful streets bustling with life.

The villa itself was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled on a private stretch of beach, it was a paradise in its own right. The rooms were spacious, decorated in soft, earthy tones that blended seamlessly with the natural beauty outside. The large windows allowed the warm sunlight to stream in, offering breathtaking views of the ocean from nearly every angle.

After settling in, the family gathered for a relaxed dinner on the veranda, the sounds of the ocean providing a soothing backdrop to their meal. Despite the long journey, the atmosphere was light and filled with laughter. They spoke of the adventures they would have in the days to come—exploring the spice markets, snorkeling in the clear waters, and simply soaking in the beauty of the island.

Jet lag soon caught up with them, and one by one, they retired to their rooms, eager to rest and recharge. Emery, after a day filled with travel and excitement, felt a deep contentment as she crawled into her bed. The soft sheets and the distant sound of waves lulled her into a peaceful sleep.

As she drifted off, she couldn't help but smile, knowing that she was surrounded by the people she loved most in the world, in a place she had always dreamed of visiting. The adventures awaiting them in Zanzibar were sure to be unforgettable, but for now, Emery was simply happy to be with her family, sharing in the simple joy of being together.
