"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, L-LADY ARIA,"  A soft, gentle, and masculine voice was heard through the other side of the door. I almost scoffed. So the man of the show finally decided to come, huh?

Through the door was Oscar Frederick, the actual main part of the show.

To be honest, I can't believe he actually came this early. He was one of the unpaid actors of this show. I don't honestly recall all the elements of this boring novel, but I do remember him showing up late. So I have no idea why he decided to show this early.

Don't tell me he's that desperate already for Aria? Ugh. You know what, you can have her, sir. She's too gone.

"S-Sir Frederick, welcome, come on in," Aria said with a beaming soft smile on her face when she lead him into the party room. All the other guests looked at him in awe, and I had to say, he was well dressed. Not overly though.

Everyone looked a bit awkward with this situation. At first, all the other guests turned to look a me, and then immediately looked away, as if they realized something or tried to justify it in their brains.

"W-well everyone, this is Sir Frederick." Aria awkwardly introduced him to everyone. Oscar shyly introduced himself to everyone. But then he became a little awkward when his eyes met mines. He laughed shyly as he waved.

I only smiled. But it only widened when I noticed what he held on his other arm. A brooch box? Wait-! Wait!

"Lord Frederick, what kind of present have you brought for my sister?" I asked him with a sly smile. I pointed at the box he held on his right hand.

Aria looked a little baffled at my question as she said, "-Mielle,"

"Ah..." Oscar said with a soft smile. "Well..."

Well..? Say it-! Pull it out!

The other guests caught on, well, not really. "Did you get brooch for Lady Aria?" A lady from the back asked sheepishly.

"...this is actually a present I recieved from Lady Aria." Oscar murmured quite innocently. The other guests looked a bit shocked with his response however.

Aria quickly replied this hurriedly after realizing this reaction, "A-ah it was for a favor for the presents, he sent to me... and Mielle,"

Bwahahahaha!

Now, you have no choice but to reveal that card, huh? Now, Aria had to die in shame this time. To admit that out loud... sounds like you're covering up an affair. I bit my laughter while watching her.

The other guests awkwardly made eye-contact with each other, and suddenly eased the mood with, "Er- That's very kind." Even Sarah looked a bit awkward, but she smiled to also easen the mood of this entire tense conversation.

Now Aria looked terrible. So did Oscar. Everyone knew that Mielle and Oscar were candidates to being engaged. In fact, from their youths, Mielle and Oscar had always been rumoured to be married soon. Therefore, this relationship looked bad. Even if the truth was different now.

The point of this show is demonstrate how terrible they were.

Did you guys see how these people are now? But people forgive very easily. I could only take up the drama so far. So I have to step down.

"....what kind of brooch did you recieve, Lord Frederick-" A lady mistakenly asked. Suddenly the whole room went quiet with her question. She shut her mouth as she looked between me and Oscar.

Hold up? Are things finally getting exciting?

"...It's a little..." Oscar murmured.

Aria looked away and quickly said, "Lord Frederick feels shy, let's not tease him."
