Sir S, you are a sly man.

Aria smirked to herself as she let the flow of time change with the hourglass now flipped. That's right, like she said: She could never let herself loose a round like this. Now, back to the beginning of Round One:

"You can look at your dealt cards," The Dealer announced, and Aria, without blinking, quickly checked hers

"You can look at your dealt cards," The Dealer announced, and Aria, without blinking, quickly checked hers. It was the same– the Nine and Jack! Okay, at least none of the cards were messed up, so she can be sure that the other players have the card they have.

"Now, write down your bets," The Dealer said, handing them all a piece of paper. Aria, quickly scribbled 10,000 gold coins and handed it to the Dealer. While Lohan, Sir P, and Sir S were doing the same.

Now, she must do this now:

"I've b–" Sir S was about the announce, but Aria quickly yelled, "Sir S! You're stepping on my feet!" This quickly got everyone's attention.

"...Ah, apologies," Sir S, said slowly, bowing in apology for 'stepping on her feet.'

Aria smiled and grievingly said, "You mustn't be so rude to your partner, and must be cautious of your surroundings... especially when making bets!" She scolded him.

"Forgive my carelessness," Sir S apologized again, Aria sighed again, while acting to rub her forehead. "It's quite alright," She responded back again.

"Now that it seems that the issue has been resolved, we shall continue on with the trading round."

This... finally saved both of them! Ahhhh...

The reason why Aria lied about S stepping on her feet– was from getting him to stop lying about his supposed bet. In the previous timeline, he had mentioned that he had made a 200,000 gold bet. Although that was quite odd and put him at a disadvantage– and also turned out to be a lie– Aria understood why he had declared such a thing...

He was trying to communicate with her about the cards he had.

200,000 gold-> was a way of saying he had 2 fives on his deck. It may seem quite odd– but it was him trying to also communicate with her on the type of cards he had on his deck. Aria made sure to stop him. She can't expose such a communication tactic now. She must use that knowledge to her advantage later.

"No trades?" The Dealer clarified.

The Dealer pulled out a slew of cards: The cards on the table were a two eights, one King of Diamonds, and a Jack of Spades. Ah, it was just as the previous timeline.

And if it goes like this then... Sir S and Sir P should definitely switch hands! Why, Because Sir S has the higher ranking bid– and if they swap hands, which she needs to make sure that Sir S swaps both hands. Then Sir S would definitely give them the win.

Now how does she go about this?

"Any trades in this round?" The Dealer asked once more.

"Yes!" Aria raised her hand, as if answering a teacher's question. "Ah, I would like to say that my partner S should definitely switch hands, am I not right?" She looked at Sir S, who just smiled at her and said, "Is that so?"
