As annoyed as I had been by Henry's ridiculous decision to commission his friend to babysit me - I eventually realised that his actual intention was just to make sure I wouldn't be too lonely.

As promised, Noah didn't touch me once, and he barely really "dominated" me in any way. He just asked me what my plans for the day were, told me where we had to be at what time, and where he wanted me to accompany him. I liked Noah, and I liked that he treated me with respect and kindness as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

After the spanking I had received from him, I was sure that he did like to be a dominant, and that he would be a very competent one if he picked a submissive, but he didn't seem desperate for having power over a woman. He was actually capable of minding his own business, doing his sports stuff, and being insanely successful with that, instead of taking a random girl and making her life difficult. I respected that a lot.

Attending Mr. Salzman's classes while Henry was away turned out to be more difficult than I had expected. Noah's lessons were at different times than Henry's, which meant that he noticed when I was away for an hour or two, and I had to find excuses over excuses.

So far, I had still managed to be where I had to be in time, but it was getting very stressful. I was glad that I would take my exam next week and all this lying would finally stop, but that also meant that I really couldn't skip any classes right now.

I glanced at the clock at the opposite wall and chewed my bottom lip nervously. I should have left three minutes ago, Mr. Salzman appreciated it when I came a few minutes early. But Noah had once again made my life harder by dragging me to yet another social event.

There seemed to be ten a week these days, the closer we got to graduation. Today's one was a brunch that the juniors had organised for the seniors, and everyone was in a good mood. The males had the luxury of being already finished with their exams, and most of the females also already knew their plans for after school.

I seemed to be the only one who struggled with the thought of leaving Westminster Academy, but right now, I had a more urgent problem. I was convinced that Mr. Salzman wouldn't forgive me if I missed his lesson. He was the kind of person who held a grudge.

"Noah" I whispered, not wanting to draw too much attention to myself. He had been immersed in a conversation for the last ten minutes, and I had tried to wait patiently but I really needed to go. Noah glanced at me and immediately asked his friend to give him a second. He took his job as my personal watchdog very seriously.

"What's wrong?" His genuine concern warmed my heart.

"Nothing, I just..." I didn't know how to act wisely. "How long are we staying here?"

Noah frowned. "We've arrived half an hour ago. Do you want to leave already?"

I nodded, hoping that he'd just give in.

"I think you should stay for a bit longer. Enjoy the good food, make some conversation..." He gave me an encouraging smile.

Ugh.

So asking nicely didn't work.

"Look, I get that you're my babysitter and all, but I'd really appreciate it if I could leave" I tried to sound bored rather than anxious, but I wasn't sure if I succeeded.

Noah scraped out his salad bowl without looking up. "Henry told me to make sure you take part in every social activity while he's away, so that you wouldn't just hide away in your room."

I rolled my eyes. "But I've been to every football practice with you, and we went to the pub yesterday. Why can't I have some time to myself?"

He finally put the stupid bowl down and turned to me. "You should watch that attitude, little girl."
