I Found the Prince

The Surprise: Part 2

Ethan's POV

Wesley and I walk up to the palace to go in but we were stopped by guards. "Do you have an invitation to come here, you two?" One of them boomed. Wesley and I exchanged looks of confusion and we realized the one little detail, our disguises. We laughed and asked them to give us a moment as we peeled the masks off. That's when they all bowed and said, "Prince Ethan, you have returned! Hello, Prince William, it is nice to see you again!"

We smiled and said thank you. "May you take me to my parents?" I asked and they happily obliged. Once we arrive to my parents room, I send the guards on their way. "MOM, DAD, BUBBY'S HOME!" I say and then let out a huge laugh. 

I heard scurrying come from inside the room and then a huge thud. I could bet money that my dad fell over. The door swung open and my mom engulfed me in hugs and kisses. "My baby! Where have you been, how have you been, who is this girl, is she here, when can I meet her, why did you leave without saying goodbye!" She wasn't even breathing. 

I pulled away from her grasp and dusted myself off. "Mom, calm down. Why can't you be like dad." I say then I instantly regretted it. When my eyes turned to my dad he looked like a kid that wanted to grab at something but mommy said no. I facepalm myself. "Never mind. To answer your questions: I have been all over the kingdom, trying my best to learn more about this fascinating town, I have been incredible, her name is Olivia Rose, she is not here, I am bringing her by today to meet you, and I left without a goodbye because I knew you would stop me and try to forbid." I answer calmly. 

"Well, why didn't you bring her now, son?" My dad finally speaks.

"Well, father, I like to mess with her a bit. I see how you and mom are all the time and all I have ever wanted was something like that. So, when I found Olivia, I knew she was the one. My plan is to go back out there, disguised, and bring her here. I was going to say we got invited by you two to meet because you love her family's shop--"

"OOO! The one that sells all those incredible trinkets. I have to buy one every time I send a guard into town!" My mom beams.

"Yes, that's the one. Then, I was going to let her tell you her thoughts about the prince and while she was teasing me, I was going to take off my disguise slowly and wait for her to realize it was me all along. I am bringing Wesley and the girl he fell for as well." I say, proud of my brilliant plan. 

My parents finally looked at Wes, who was standing there completely unnoticed. "Oh, goodness, I am so sorry, Wesley. We didn't see you, buddy. You know how much we missed our Prince." My mom says as she walks over to give him a big hug. 

"It's okay, your Majesty. I understand. The girl I met is Olivia's best friend, Ashley. Once the diabolical plan of Ethan's is over, we have a proposition for you." He beams. I can't wait until that part. 

My parents smile big and say, "Well, we are looking forward to meeting them." 

"Great! Well, we are going to go get them but first I need your invitations, please. For Wesley and Ashley as well." My parents go into their room and reemerge with the invites. "Oh, and one last favor. Rotate the guards from the front of the palace. They have seen us in our disguises and we don't want our covers to be blown." I say. My parents agree and Wesley and I left to get our girls. This will be a very eventful day. 

Once we return home we run up the steps to get out beautiful girls. Olivia opened the door and I asked for her hand. "Are you ready to go on a beautiful carriage ride, my lady?" I say as I bend over and kiss her hand. 

Her gasp was so satisfying and she said, "Ethan, it's beautiful." I looked up and saw her beautiful rosy cheeks so I leaned in and kissed them, trying to cool them off a bit. "Stop it!" She giggled. 

"Come on, ladies, let's hit the road!" I say and we all walked down and got into the carriage. 

"So, where are we going?" They both asked together. 

Wesley and I let out a laugh, "It's a surprise." Wesley said and they both pouted, making us laugh at how adorable they are some more. 

On the ride to the palace, I had Olivia snuggled up next to me and every 5 seconds I would kiss the top of her head. "Stop it, you're making me blush." She giggled. 

"Then I am doing my job, Princess." I tease. She playfully hits me and I grab her in closer. "That wasn't very nice, Princess." I say with a smirk. 

"I'm sorry!" She squeals. 

"Nowhere to run!" I pull her in closer and start to nibble and kiss her perfect neck. This made her burst into giggles and try to squirm away, but I had her locked in place. "Say sorry!" I tease in between kisses. 

"I'm sorry! I'M SORRY!" She squeals out. After a couple more minutes of teasing her and hearing that gorgeous little laugh of hers, we arrived. "WE'RE AT THE PALACE!" She gasped.

I watch as Ashley crawled over Wesley to see the same sight as her and when she did her mouth fell open. "Yes." I say to them. The guards open the door and ask for our invitations and I politely handed it to them. "We have been invited to visit the King and Queen." I say, forcing calmness in my voice. 

"Surprise!" Wes and I say at the same time as both girls sat their with their mouths wide open.

Author's Note: I know a lot of you are going to talk about Wesley being called Prince William. It is not a typo. Just wait and see ;)
