As the days went on, I found myself caught in a web of complex emotions and relationships. Cheyoung and I continued to grow closer, sharing laughs and stories as we navigated the ups and downs of university life. I also found myself more aware of the unspoken tensions between me, Lisa, Jennie, and the others.

One evening, as I was walking back to the dorm after studying in the library, I took a moment to sit by the fountain in the garden, reflecting on everything that had happened. The cool breeze from the fountain was soothing, and I found solace in the quiet moment.

"Hey, Jisoo," Cheyoung’s voice broke the silence as she approached. "Mind if I join you?"

I looked up and smiled. "Of course. I was just thinking about the past few days."

Cheyoung sat down beside me, her presence comforting. "It’s been a lot to handle, hasn’t it?"

I nodded, feeling a bit of the weight lift off my shoulders just by talking about it. "Yeah, but I’m starting to feel like things might get better. You’ve been a big part of that."

Cheyoung blushed slightly. "I’m just glad I could help. It means a lot to hear that from you."

We sat in companionable silence for a while, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the garden. I couldn’t help but notice the way Cheyoung’s eyes sparkled in the moonlight, and I felt a flutter in my heart.

"Cheyoung," I said tentatively, "can I ask you something?"

She turned to me, her expression open and curious. "Sure, what’s up?"

I took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. "Have you ever felt like there’s more to a situation than meets the eye? Like there’s something beneath the surface that you’re trying to understand?"

Cheyoung’s eyes met mine, and she seemed to consider my question carefully. "Sometimes. But it’s important to trust your instincts and stay true to yourself, even when things get complicated."

I nodded, feeling reassured by her words. "That makes sense. I guess I just need to keep my eyes open and take things one step at a time."

Cheyoung smiled. "Exactly. And no matter what happens, you have friends who care about you."

I looked at her, feeling a deep sense of gratitude. "Thank you, Cheyoung. I really appreciate everything you’ve done for me."

Cheyoung’s smile widened, and she took my hand in hers, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I’m always here for you, Jisoo."

As we sat together under the stars, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this was the beginning of something new and meaningful. With Cheyoung by my side and a newfound sense of hope, I was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead at YG University.
